The Work - Canes Camp #2

I don't know anything about Melvin... But even good coaches have to start somewhere. It's usually levels in life. Being a good coach at a sht school is plausible just like being a sht coach at a good school is.

My goodness

He worked his way from the NFL up to FIU. So, yeah, he definitely moved his way up the ranks.

Sounds like he's working in the wrong direction, somebody should explain this to him

O ok. Tru. So your logic is based on your pleasant professional standing. Punctuated by the perpetual and exclusive upward mobility in your career field. Got it.

Or he could want to eventually be a college coach as opposed to being a pro coach. Albeit without failing first like Saban and spurrier.

So by your logic i should feel bad that jethro and brennan got "demoted?"

Well, then you want to keep recycling a coaching search every 6 years when any successful coach leaves for the NFL?
Since going from NFL to college is a bad thing in your book...

I just want to make sure i get exactly where u stand

I don't want to make this about Golden but when will this dude stop with his BS. I agree that this program should have lights on the field but exactly how did this add stress to the job by worrying about missing practice time when the dumb *** ended camp early.

Your over sensitivity is that of a middle school pre-teen...:ignore2:

I'm sorry that facts sound like a pre-teen rant to you, maybe you should take Golden's d:ck out of your ear so you can actually listen

Your the one *****in... I'm not into that d;ck chit so you can go elsewhere with that... Are you a Gayturd?

Keep trying to convince yourself of that, buddy. I thought you were ignoring the noise like your butt buddy Golden..what happened?

And who exactly sounds like a pre-teen "Are you a Gayturd?", that sh:t is lame?

Melvin voluntarily left the NFL to go to FIU. That's definitely how it happened right? Everyone does that.

So good of you to actually respond specifically rather than some bland reply that doesn't really mean anything at all :monkey-serious:

Thanks for being so obsessed with me that you feel the need to monitor my reply to tbaycane. Unfortunately, your slow-witted attempt at being a smart guy fell flat even with the stupid emoticon.

So he has nothing to give here that could help?

Im going to watch regardless. I think Golden is gone one way or another. Ijs its too many variables.

I dont think Carroll or Franklin should've have gotten to the league after their latest bodies of work. So as far as the Melvin situation stranger things can and do happen

Why are we not red shirting Norton and McIntosh we have a lot of bodies

Man your come backs are as **** as your other tendencies. I see you are still trying to convince yourself.

It's okay to come out of the closet this day and age, I'm sure your mom will understand and not kick you out of the house.

And I was talking about football, you just chose not to listen and started the name calling, buddy.

Melvin might have gotten screwed. his whole DL was injured that year he got fired.

Not drinking the DL KoolAid

my my head is going to explode with Golden saying "bigger and stronger" over and over. The friggin guy never talks about team speed. Never

Al refuses to redshirt guys so he can always have the "we weren't deep enough at position x this year" card to play.

**One of my biggest takeaways from today's practice was the work of defensive line coach Randy Melvin. Melvin is known as a great teacher of the position and I came away impressed from what I saw. Melvin was stressing the importance of his linemen using their hands. He is not much of a yeller, but rather pulls his guys aside to work with them.

--“These guys are all about business and making themselves better. It’s about the details of the position. It doesn’t matter if it’s football, life, or business, you have to handle the details before being successful and that’s all were doing,” said Melvin.

:puzzled::RK5I6FxwJLgEV5J6.jpMelvin is a great teacher based on what? He got let go from the patriots after winning the SB

He doesn't redshirt players because he can always pull the youth card when things don't go poorly.

"Ya see, Joe, we played 11 true freshmen last season. We were young in a lot of places."

Didn't he get fired from the patriots when they just won the super bowl? How many good coaches get fired from a super bowl winning staff? My guess none to very few unless they truly suck.
