The Work 7-25

Ryan Mayes – The first time I saw Mayes was at Miami camp back in June when he jumped right into one-on-ones with a tank top and basketball shorts. He’s the type of jumbo corner/safety combo player that we see in the NFL now. If the coaches can get some of that aggressiveness to come out of him, this could be a very good pickup. Runs in the 4.4-4.5 range at 6’2”, 200 pounds.

Im on record sayng that I would not be surprised if Ryan Mayes adds TWO STARS during his senior season. He is currently a 2 star recruit.

What website do you use? On 24/7, ESPN, & Rivals he's a 3*.

Dude this was your best article yet. Maybe the Butch Davis reference will silence the the "star rating" critics who never see these kids but know better than the coaches who invest hundreds of hours in person, speaking to their coaches and studying film. As I used to tell parents, everthing you would have done works from the stands....BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO IT! Point is you are bringing us info we yearn for not some couch potato's critique of your good work. Keep bringing it Dude!

Scout has him at two stars.

I will wait for ESPN to add his forth star then claim that I was correct. :drevil:

Peter... will these 13 affect our graduation rate? I would think so. Long term, that's not good for recruiting. It may not really affect us too bad, but as an alum, I don't care to see our graduation rate go below 80%.

I don't think it factors into the graduation numbers.

Not an expert, but I'm pretty sure transfers need to graduate at the new schools they attend within 6 years from when they first attended Miami, or else we take the hit on our graduation rate.
