Pete, I know Cam has talked about this on Twitter but were you surprised at how some of the kids didn't get invites to The Opening today?

GENRON DOES NOT COACH ON THE FIRE. HE HAS NO RELATIONSHIP WITH SBB SO STOP.

Oh really? My sources tell me they were spotted splitting a 20 piece McNugget earlier this evening right after Genron filled up at the local Shell station. Tighten up your game, Peter.

So Burgess-Becker woke up one morning and decided that Bama leads over Miami? Yeah makes me wonder who's in his ear

Genron. Jovante Durante did not list um in his top 3 who coincidentally also plays on florida fire in which genron coaches on.....
he does not coach the fire. We are now tied/leading for Durante. If he gets his grades in order, he's a CANE. :/

Lmao...He just said his Top-3 was WV, Alabama and Auburn. Talked visiting several other schools but didn't even mention us:

ask pete or him if it makes you feel better.

scout just posted this about Mullins

Not to be out done, Dionte Mullins put on a show. This 2016 recruit caught just about everything thrown his way, even bad balls. In about a five minute span Mullins made two ridiculous catches in two different ways. One on play he ran a post route and the ball was overthrown. Mullins ran underneath it, laid out and made the diving catch. A few moments later he ran a sideline route and the ball was badly thrown behind him. He stopped himself, turned his body, climbed the ladder and made a one handed grab that drew a loud ovation from all the kids in attendance as well as fans on the sideline and in the stands. This kid just has uncanny ball skills.

“Boy does he have great hands,” Brooks said. “For such a young kid he makes great adjustments to the ball when it’s in the air. You don’t see that in young players. He catches the ball at all angles. That kid is a quarterbacks best friend because he will catch bad balls.”

Ronnie Hoggins ha Pete can I get cred for bringing him up on multiple occasions long ago, but as always, no one one seems to care smh this kid is a baller and regardless he should be offered along with BB(as a safety)

Just going by his interview. Seemed very enthusiastic about the other schools and didn't even mention Miami.

Both SBB and Ridley really want to play with CB teammate Ronnie Hoggins at the next level and this person told me that if Miami offered Hoggins, that would go a long way to securing their commitment and they might have committed at their original date if Hoggins had an offer. In my opinion, if offering Hoggins meant landing those two, it is a slam-dunk no-brainer. Hoggins is a very good player in his own right and is a superb slot-corner prospect. I don’t see Miami offering though, because this staff has shown they like size at the defensive back position and Tim Irvin already fills the potential spot that Hoggins could play.

This is what I mean when I say Miami needs to do a better job of "playing the game." Hoggins is a solid player-- undersized but tough with real offers. If offering him guarantees you SBB and Ridley (and multiple sources tell me it does), then you offer him.

We treat these offers like gold now, but then after NSD we give them away to any unsigned kid with a decent HUDL and a pulse. That's not the formula to beat FSU. Get the difference makers by any means necessary.

This exactly sums up how I feel D-Money. It's madding and I don't get it

This and also do you think its a mistake not going after guys like lamar jackson or a kyler murray(longshot). Also I'm not convinced on Causey, he stops his feet a lot thats why I always was big on Hoggins.

For QB or other positions? Coley likes really big quarterbacks so I don't see him going in that direction. They are great athletes, though.

The guy I'm intrigued by is Stanley from Flanagan. He has great feet and a quick release.

I was referring to the QB position, but I'm also intrigued by Stanley, as much as he stays in the pocket and delivers the ball with great accuracy I would of never imagined him running the forty at the time he did, nice prospect.

Not Pete, but a lot of those kids will get invited later. The opening doesn't like to invite all the elite kids at once

But golden and staff will offer a substantial amout of out of state kids but can't hand one to a kid in their own backyard who can play and would also gurrantee two high caliber football players to miami........
......... Miami got the second most offers out in the nation. Boy does this staff need to adapt.....

Its early, but its pretty ridiculous that staff STILL has not learned to play the game. If country *** Jimmy, Idaho joe schmo Dennis Erickson, and Hillbilly Butch learned to play the facking game, so can fat Al.

Since when did a 28inh vert and 4.8 coincide with freak athleticism?
