I'm just here for the beer and not to take sides
I just hope there is someone who defends me like this guys defends Butch. He about to have an aneurysm and Butch wasn’t even slandered.![]()
all he said was the foote was president. nothing else. that is true, correct? just like it is true that shalala was president in 2001, correct? But SHE was the President after Foote left in June of 2001...Lol at Foote getting ANY credit for ANYTHING sports related during his tenure. Howard hated him...JJ hated him...Erickson hated him and Butch couldn't stand him.
Four football championships and three CWS championships while he was president, two more 2001 championships were within 7 months after he left, that's success during his tenure.Wrong...UMs baseball program was already humming before Foote arrived in 1980...and he had NOTHING to do with Sabans last recruiting class in 79...that truthfully started the Dynasty....
I'm sorry Sir, you're in the wrong thread for common sense, please exit stage left. The system is set up to microwave it in '22.
Giant, bloated, paid up staff in a 'recruiting hotbed'
Coastal sucks (zero ranked teams heading into the week)
MTSU, BCU and So Miss were cupcake chit games to schedule (only Clemson is ranked right now on entire schedule)
Transfer Portal
Free year after transfer
Grad transfer rule
COVID extra year
4 game redshirt rule
NIL so buy the guy you really want like a free agent with no salary cap (think 49ers in '94, Cowboys in '95)
Blue Chip Ratio already above 50%
How hard could it really be to beat MTSU in '22 if you're Wario
What happens if Miami loses? There is a moment when a program turns the corner. This team needs that more than ever and this Saturday there is an opportunity to make that happen. I remember in 1998 getting boat raced by Syracuse, only to knock off an undefeated UCLA the following week. In a lot of ways, that was the turning point for Butch and Miami.
Losing to MTSU is bad enough, but if there was a silver lining, it could be the embarrassment of that loss that created a positive change within the program.
If we beat UNC on Saturday, it's not like beating a top 10 team, but it's a team that has been a thorn in our ***. We would be 1-0 in a conference that is begging for us to win. It could spark momentum and a winning streak which would hopefully carry over to recruiting.
With all the negativity lately, it would be a pleasant surprise to see a well prepared Miami team this Saturday that performs at a high level. We all need to see it to believe it and I'm truly hoping we get a glimpse of Miami kicking *** again.
i'm not asking you to buy it, you can do anything you want with, it is just an empirical fact, right @Empirical Cane ?Yes and no my ***....Not buying it
yes, VT.What happens if Miami loses?
On to the next turning point?
No...he said Foote was President for all 5 NCs originally, which is wrong....I corrected it for him...and have been correcting him since.all he said was the foote was president. nothing else. that is true, correct? just like it is true that shalala was president in 2001, correct?
A fact in your mind...not mine.i'm not asking you to buy it, you can do anything you want with, it is just an empirical fact, right @Empirical Cane ?
Again....If it was up to Tad Foote...he would've ended all of UMs Sports. ALL he cared about was academics...NOTHING else...If not for Leonard Miller...God only knows what would've happened. Even Ron Fraser hated his ***..Four football championships and three CWS championships while he was president, two more 2001 championships were within 7 months after he left, that's success during his tenure.
I don't disagree with that at all, but we started sucking when Foote left.Again....If it was up to Tad Foote...he would've ended all of UMs Sports. ALL he cared about was a academics...NOTHING else...If not for Leonard Miller...God only knows what would've happened. Even Ron Fraser hated his ***..
****tt is creepy. How can just the mention of the man’s name, move you to behave like that? Mind blowing lolA phenomenon that is truly incredible and likely something we never see again, ever. In person or on the internet, truly amazing.
ANYONE who gives ANY credence & credit to Tad Foote, in ref to UM Sports...needs their teeth knocked out onto the Palmetto. Howard left because of him...and so did JJ...that's atleast another 4 or 5 NCs left on the table because of him...All he wanted was UM to be the Harvard of the South....nothing more...nothing less...and he even failed at that.Four football championships and three CWS championships while he was president, two more 2001 championships were within 7 months after he left, that's success during his tenure.
Us started Sucking, had NOTHING to do with Foote leaving....he signed off on Sports wayyyyy before that.I don't disagree with that at all, but we started sucking when Foote left.
It's ironic that a hands off approach from Foote with the right BOT/AD gave the success it did.
He had no choice...as I stated, Leonard Miller ran the show...not Foote.I don't disagree with that at all, but we started sucking when Foote left.
It's ironic that a hands off approach from Foote with the right BOT/AD gave the success it did.
He definitely improved academics, just not to the Harvard of the South level.ANYONE who gives ANY credence & credit to Tad Foote, in ref to UM Sports...needs their teeth knocked out onto the Palmetto. I believe you both to be right.i'm not asking you to buy it, you can do anything you want with, it is just an empirical fact, right @Empirical Cane ?
which is what i said, he called a good enough game and moved the ball until the redzone, then he put his diapers on and took a crap. se cagó.I believe you both to be right.
Gattis' play calling did move the ball between the 20s.
Gattis' play calling seemed to move Miami backwards when inside the 20.
