That UCLA team plays Tennessee for the NC if they beat us...this yrs UNC team ain't playing for nothing if they beat us.

What are you talking about?

If UNC beats Miami it's very possible they could go 6-2/5-3 in ACC play, given the rest of their schedule. This game will go a long way to decide the ACC Coastal champion.

The focus should be winning the Coastal. F*** the MTSU loss. Seriously. It was one of the most embarrassing losses in program history but it means nothing in the long term if they can capture the Coastal.

Me too, but to me that’s coaching.

Against MTSU, we got outcoached, but their players were just better than ours. They played better and harder football. They were faster, more aggressive, more physical, etc. They wanted to be there and they came to fight us. We showed up to feel sorry for ourselves and think they were just going to roll over. And we got our **** pushed in.

I want to see the kids play with some pride and heart. Hurt somebody going over the middle. Knock somebody off the ball. Come off the edge and put their face mask right into Maye’s spine. Just act like you’ve got some pride in yourself and your program and that you’re not going to let what happened last week happen again. That’s really all I want to see.

No. That's not what he meant. He was talking about taking an embarrassing loss, coming out determined and ready to play, and turning that negative into a positive that can light the path down the road. Yes, we were embarrassed by 'Cuse. You probably was around the program then, how did you feel after getting curb stomped by the orange? Yes UCLA was a much better team than UNC or UM is right now... ****, so was that 'Cuse team, but that's not the point. Nobody is debating that. Beating UNC does not mean we're back and on our way to being elite, however it would signal that we can bounce back from an embarrassing loss and win a division game.... and in the CoRstal, that little push can be what we need to get this **** sailing in the right direction. Bruh, That's all he's trying to say.

He knew what dude was trying to say. He's not that dense. He just loses his marbles and his brain malfunctions whenever the "glory days" are brought up
 
When I first saw the schedule, like most, my immediate focus went to the TAMU & Clemson games. But the game I had circled was UNC. The last 3 losses to them sent each season into an immediate tailspin. We played TAMU close, will probably lose to Clemson by double digits, but this is the one we badly need. A win vs a divisional foe while reeling. I don't like the matchup at all but we must find a way to get this W, even if it's ugly.

That Syracuse team was 100 times better than this POS UNC team....beating Clemson would be a turning point.

You want a push??...that should've happened vs A&M....not UNC....Beat Clemson, then we can say something.

Not just the players....this is a 14 million dollar staff...sick and F-ing tired of excuses. You mean to tell me a 14 million dollar staff, can't drum up a semblance of a gameplan to score ONE F-ing TD against A&M??...or beat a less talented MTSU team??

YES! I agree with you... on both points. You are correct. Beating Clemson would be a REAL turning point, signaling to the rest of the college football world that we're ready to return to the upper echelon. But like an earlier poster said, those type of wins rarely happen in the first year of a new regime. But that was not what he was trying to say.
