The $EC won't kick them out. Now, could they make LSU's life extremely difficult? Automatic L's for games they play the former NFL players in, no access to the $EC Championship game? Possibly. And if they go a whole season with NFL players, do the CFP voters allow it?

reports have been coming out from credible people saying the word is the SEC has the votes if they want to go through with it. Most don’t seem to think they will though. The prevailing thought seems to be that the SEC wants the Louisiana Governor and government influence out and are looking to send a message.

My guess is the SEC votes to levy some from of punishment/probation but falls short of expulsion. If the votes are there for expulsion, as reports are suggesting, I’m sure the SEC will make that known even if they don’t pull the trigger.

Seeing as LSU appears to have backed down I tend to believe the reports that the votes really are there.

Lane is not new to the SEC. They didn’t care about his antics when he was lifting up a conference bottom feeder to a consistent Top 15 program and playoff contender….

Saying Lane is like the old Miami teams is a joke. Lane is a narcissist who puts himself at the center of attention. Our old teams were always about the team 1st. There's nothing "us against the world" about LSU football. It's "Lane Kiffin against the world", and if a job like Texas or Bama opens up he'll absolutely dump LSU if those schools have interest

You clearly worship the guy but I think the vast majority of our fanbase is happy we have Mario instead of him.
 
I find it interesting that in the battle of SEC vs LSU, people on here pick the side of LSU.

Which means the side of a program that wants to play NFL players, has a scumbag for a HC burning bridges wherever he goes and probably kick the sport even further down than it already is.

Interesting. And unbelievably stupid. But also interesting.

I said his team. I agree with you about lane. I bet you that team is absolutely focused on nothing but them getting better, and have an us against the world mentality. Yes Lane is doing what he does on the outside, but he keeps his teams hyper focused. Most of the stunts he pulls are to intentionally to shock people and to create attention. Hes clearly a believer that any publicity is good publicity. It doesnt reflect on his team.
