Secondly, and this is my whole point with the back-and-forth with other people, is that I don’t give a fūck about Joe Rogan. That was the whole point. Who cares whether the rock supported him and then withdrew his support or whatever. To me it’s all TMZ shlt.

The topic isn’t Joe Rogan nor what he said or didn’t say. My entire point is that the Rock is a very successful ex-Cane, and entertainer, who had a flamboyant intro last night. That shlt.

But then people have to bring the politics into it. And I’m not going down that road no matter what you asked me about Joe Rogan.

Fair enough. I only put "you and I" into the scenario because you and I and Dwayne have similar educational backgrounds, and could easily find ourselves in a common social setting. I wasn't trying to suggest that either you or I would use coarse language. I should have clearly included a fourth alum like Dan LeBastard to say all of the problematic words.

I, too, do not give a fvck about Joe Rogan. I can agree with him at times and disagree with him at other times. None of that makes him a friend OR an enemy.

An absolutely fascinating multi-person discussion that wrestles with one man's enormous legacy of doing both very good things and very bad things over a lifetime. Very complex stuff, and worth an examination.

Yeah man, some of these cats on here are insane. That's kind of one of the reasons why I don't really post on here much, because it would require me to overuse the ignore button, and I prefer not to do that.

I thought TM104, was going to be his last album, but the pandemic compelled him to release Recession2, a concept record that was relevant for the current world situation. Releasing a concept record during a pandemic, kind of shows that he doesn't really care about record sales, as much as releasing socially relevant content. I am holding out hope, that he will remain open to being apart of a similar kind of project in the future.

We all know how China treats its Muslim population -- the US didn't send Olympic diplomats to Beijing for this reason. But DJ makes $$,$$$,$$$ from his movies in China.

It begs the question, why did Israel Adesanya come out and publicly support Joe Rogan? Joe Rogan's 'honor guard' transcends race & politics it seems. I think there is a reason it's the #1 podcast in the world. He has people from every walk of life on his show.

Do I agree with what he said? **** no. Was I disappointed? For **** sure. But people deserve second chances & Joe Rogan has at least came out and condemned what he said & he realizes it was wrong. Now, if he said he didn't care about what he said -- or if he acted like he was too big for criticism -- then I wouldn't be JR fan.

Also, I don't see anyone in this thread defending the Rock for making fun of Chinese people. I don't think what he said there was right either. However, if we are going to attack the Rock for that, we need to also attack McMahon since he obviously Okayed that "joke" and most likely one of his writers wrote that joke.
