The only reason CoRch Diaz will give Jarren Williams back the starting Job

Did you factor in the drops or you just wanted to sweep that under the rug, sneak a comment in about comp % and no one will recall this fact.
Williams had drops to right? so his % would of been even better! its part of the game.

You should change you name to tinfoil hat cane or conspiracy cane. I think you maybe on to something though. That is Probably the same reason why Ivey starts over blades,Zion Nelson is still playing, and why it took the staff six games to start their best defensive player. Also add Garvin playing spy, blitzing somebody from Haiti on 4-17th and also Enos inexplicable play calling this year. That explains all our faults and mistakes this year. Or they are just bad coaches.

I think Defensive play is far more important In the outcomes of those games either way and we see that with the way the defense played vs uva compared to va tech game (6 possessions in the redzone allowing 6 tds) and unc game (allowing 17 first quarter points and then giving up a 4th and 17 with 3minutes left in the game). if the defense didn’t have a stout performance vs uva (5 drives inside 25 yardline but allowed only 9 points) we easily lose that acc game too
So the Defense gets all the credit for the UVA game?

Interesting...

Is Jarren gonna beat Pitt on the road? And if he does will the Defense get all the credit for that game too?

What's boring @brock is that you and others continue to throw out stats and percentages from a dink and dunk machine. I don't even want to talk bad about the guy to prove my point, but lets face it this fanbase will be divided until they leave. Jarren hasn't won me over and kosi doesn't have a clean slate with a lot of ppl. You will continue to throw out these numbers and ignore what your eyes see. If Jarren would have made the correct football plays and thrown the ball away several times instead of taking sacks and/or fumbling it, putting us in 2nd or 3rd and long his quote on quote comp % wouldn't have legs to stand on.

Im not obsessed with kosi nor do i despise jarren to where i want him to fail, i just think kosi has matured, gotten a better understanding of the qb position, he's focused, and imo, gives us the best chance to win regardless of oLine play. You are entitled to your opinion as well, doesn't make mine any less credible as yours. But regardless, i respect and support the qb that is playing at any moment in the season. Whoever will be subject to fair or unfair scrutiny in the following days, it is what it is, comes with the fame and glory of the position.

What's sad is these are not Big10 qbs and Anos refuses to play to the strengths of any of these guys. Im not saying each hasn't gotten better under his guidance but the offense as a whole does not complement the talent base and skill sets of this team.
I actually Agree with most of this, but I’m still going to point out the hypocrisy(not from you necessarily) regardless because it’s clear imo. And I agree Enos need to put both of these guys in a better position to make plays and we are not constantly doing that enough period

Yeah they get credit for that game. If we had that type of performance that we had vs uva there’s no way we lose to uf or unc. Don’t even see how that’s up for debate tbh. We were only good offensively for the first drive and the last 2 but in between that we were down right putrid,23 plays 35 yards(4 3 and outs drives ) 2 first downs in those 23 plays and that shouldn’t be lauded imo

Yes he will! They will get the credit if they deserve it! i think this is the first game that everyone did their job......i think Kosi played good enough to win obviously....i also think Willaims has played good enough to win all but the VT game....i also think this is the best the defense has looked all season , it was refreshing. Now if the defense didnt show up we loose to UVA

Defense absolutely deserves all the credit for that win. And in actuality, Miami won that game that they deserved to lose, and they lost 2 games that they probably deserved to win (VT & UNC). Strange season. But yes, Miami scored 17 points at home and gained less than 270 yards against a team whose coach said 2 years ago that had 25 D1 players on it. The offense was awful. If not for the defense bowing up in the redzone, Miami should have lost. I haven't seen Connelly's advanced box score, but I'd bet my life UVAs post-game win expectancy was close to 70%.

You're Clueless... Except for the 1st drive and the last 2 drives N'Kosi didn't produce anything!!!! 6 drives lasting from the 1st quarter thru the 3rd quarter, Kosi and the Offense had 32 yds. Jarren never had that kind of lack of efficiency.
Jarren may under throw Wr on long passes but Nkosi did just the opposite, overthrowing them.

Is if he is tanking the season, conceding that this season is a loss and needs the excuse of playing a sub par QB who is a “freshman” still learning every little detail about what it takes to be a QB.

Not starting N’kosi Perry at the beginning of the season already cost us 3 games. Jarren hasn’t beaten a Power 5 team in his career and his performance against Bethune and Central Michigan shouldn’t give anyone confidence that he is capable of getting a Power 5 win this season.

Diaz’s decision this week will decide how the rest of the season will play out and the type of excuses we are going to hear from the coaching staff trying to explain away the **** show we are going to witness the rest of the season if Jarren Williams ever starts again on this team.

So when the Offense struggles it's all on the QB only when it's Perry, but when the offense struggles with Jarren it's the Defenses fault, but when we win the Defense gets all the credit for UVA but when we struggled offensively vs CMU that was on the Defense too???

So basically, Jarren deserves no blame for our offensive struggles but all credit for their successes, which haven't resulted in any P5 wins except for when the Defense played stout vs UVA but he wasn't playing...

🤔...

So, I'm gonna ask again, are we gonna beat Pitt on the road?

And who exactly do we give the credit to if we do? Help me out here lol

Who even said that? I’ve said it in the past this goes beyond Jarren on Perry. We can win with either of them but it’s pretty asinine to think the reason we lost to either of unc/uf OR va tech (Jarren get blame for that game early one and defense with 6 redzone trips for 6 tds) was anything other than the defense considering how the defense played in those games is my overarching point. Another point is the people keep throwing this saying around that the offense moves better with Perry vs uva, no it didn’t imo as we were largely inefficient that game

Last I checked, our offense stuggled against Florida, CMU and the first quarter of UVA.

Reminder: UVA had the 7th best past rush in the country ---- we had the WORST pass protection in the country. Yet, Perry made enough plays in the 4th to win the game. Additionally, UVA might be the best coached team we play this season.... and still, Perry moved the ball when we absolutely needed it.

Having said that, our Redzone Defense won the game.

Don't you have to let the game happen before you answer that question?

If we beat Pitt on the road, and the final score is 48-45 and whoever the QB is throws for 375 yards on 65% completions and the offense doesn't turn the ball over, then **** yes the offense (and an extension of that that--the QB) deserves credit for the win.

If we win 10-7 and the QB throws 5 picks and the defense holds Pitt to 175 total yards with 8 sacks, then yes, the defense deserves credit for the win.
