The one true heir to the Hurricanes throne

If noone else will bring forth the idea I think the burden must fall upon me:

Larry Scott must be named HC effective immediately.

- He's Undefeated
- He still wears Nike (The sweater he was wearing on sideline of Duke game was awesome - uequipment)
- He fired our boys up and they played with spirit
- He rallied our backup QB to a victory against a top 25 ACC powerhouse on the road
- He didnt lose 58-0 to Clemon
- Croots like him
- Some prominent members on the BOT are behind the idea that keeping him here for a year would keep SWAG16 intact and then we move from there
- He won't demand an incredible salary and we can fire No D and hire a competent DC

Thoughts?

Rimjob, thanks for the laugh.

I needed one today.

Please PM me, I need to get your weed man's number ASAP. that must be come good chit

Scott gives us a decided schematic advantage on the offensive side of the football. You want a chalkboard wizard you hire Larry Scott.

Based on the title of this thread I thought it'd be about Lou Saban. Howard won with Saban's guys!!!!

Everybodys trashin this guy, but you gotta love the enthusiasm! Coach Scott is like the first ray of light in what 7 or 8 years?

Sure, he's not really qualified to be the guy long term, but let's enjoy the run while he's here. Maybe he can bring some hope & life back in to the U family and get things rollin in the right direction for the next guy. FrancisSawyer said in another thread that Coach Scott is the kind of guy you really want to see succeed. I hope he does do well enough to get a shot at HC somewhere if that's what he wants. He just doesn't have the experience for that first shot to be here.

My bad. I spend way too much time at the WEZ where this is considered a real talent.

Gotta admit - it sings!

I think everyone if rooting for Coach Scott and the team and it is like a breath of fresh air to see the kids play with more passion. But let's keep things in perspective. He beet Dook.....it's only been one game......and Miami isn't the type of job where you move from position coach to head coach. I'd like for him to stay on (in some lesser capacity) if the team continues to have success.

For sure, man, for sure. Pump the brakes on Scott as the answer to all our NC woes, but do we have to crush the kid just when the spark is rekindled??? Like I said,

Cut it loose & 8 laterals for everybody!!!!!!

I would love to see every game the rest of this season start with a KO return lateral play just for the FCK of it!
