very nice article.

The points made up about what is ignored by parallel programs on the continuous is absolutely correct. Bias, bias, bias.

Are any of the local south Florida media going to dig into the cronyism nonsense and influence Manny's father had on his hiring and how we've seemingly broken past that local political nonsense (for now)? Or how about how few trusted him in the program?

So many people owe apologies for screaming at me over the last decade plus that Miami just couldn't afford real coaching. As always, I said they WOULD not spend, but they could have spent.

Of course those people are now milling in with the rest of us claiming they always knew better. Not coincidentally, many of them were huge Manny supporters from day one. Richt was the closest thing to this U doing anything for the football program since Butch, and they hamstrung him with a USF budget, thus acquiring DC extraordinaire.

We aren’t in the same position financially that we were 10 or even 5 years ago.

That being said, I agree this program has been run on the cheap forever.

Jimmy Johnson going into the inner city to recruit and those guys he brought in becoming the face of college football was something many werent ready for at the traditional cfb powers of the time so they taught their fan base to hate on the Canes even as they tried to become more like Miami in how they played...



Best thing I have seen in american sports were those teams...
