The Most Gaby post ever

Some 'inside smoke' was to expect something BIG this week. A little pushback from the fan base on whether Ocheampong was the 'big' news. So Gaby, who under normal circumstances is a hedge-master, went full-on to avoid push back when/if a 3* commits. Sound about right?

Miss Elk: Miss.

Presenter: You have a new theory about the brontosaurus.

Miss Elk: Can I just say Chris for one moment that I have a new theory about

Presenter: Exactly. (he gestures but she does not say anything) What is it?

Miss Elk: Where? (looks around)

Presenter: No, no your new theory.

Miss Elk: Oh, what is my theory?

Presenter: Yes.

Miss Elk: Oh what is my theory that it is. Well Chris you may well ask me what is my theory.

Presenter: I am asking.

Miss Elk: Good for you. My word yes. Well Chris, what is it that it is - this theory of mine. Well, this is what it is - my theory that I have, that is to
say, which is mine, is mine.

Presenter: (beginning to show signs of exasperation) Yes, I know it's yours, what is it?

Miss Elk: Where? Oh, what is my theory? This is it. (clears throat at some
length) My theory that belongs to me is as follows. (clears throat at great
length) This is how it goes. The next thing I'm going to say is my theory.
Ready?

Presenter: Yes.

Miss Elk: My theory by A. Elk. Brackets Miss, brackets. This theory goes as
follows and begins now. All brontosauruses are thin at one end, much, much
thicker in the middle and then thin again at the far end. That is my theory,
it is mine, and belongs to me and I own it, and what it is too.

Presenter: That's it, is it?

Miss Elk: Spot on, Chris.

Presenter: Well, er, this theory of yours appears to have hit the nail on the head.

Miss Elk: And it's mine.

Presenter: Yes, thank you very much for coming along to the studio. Thank you.

Miss Elk: My pleasure, Chris...

Presenter: Next week Britain's newest wasp farm...

Miss Elk: It's been a lot of fun.

Presenter: Yes, thank you very much.

Miss Elk: Saying what my theory is.

Presenter: Yes, thank you.

Gaby is a young guy and I honestly don’t think he knows any better. He definitely wasn’t a journalism major. He was a dude that was blogging on a fan site that got plucked to cover recruiting on another fan site.

He hasn’t been jaded by life and the last 20+ years of Canes Football like the rest of us.

Honestly I would rather read his **** than Barry Jackson’s crap
 
Insiders need to put it down on paper, video, whatever.. time stamped, worded specifically. Send it to credible holding source. Released regardless.

There’s been some people hinting and saying it is gonna happen at some point. I mean Zo is on record saying Miami is a Nike school. I would doubt it’s this offseason but who knows
 
I like Gaby. I know he gets good info because we talk to some of the same people.

It’s delicate to handle info because you don’t want to blow anything up. I’m very conservative with info because this isn’t my day job and my loyalty is to the program. This is his job but he still needs to be careful to protect sources. It’s a tough balancing act and he’s learning.

Yup. He also gets dragged thru the mud on social media/ITU and obviously can't handle that and I don't blame him. He means well and does a solid job.
 
Just reply that you already know about Deion and hedge that until you get booted off their site and find the reason you were looking for to not give that entity money.

Ex: You: [direct reply] Hey man, we already know about Deion.

I would argue posts like this diminish his credibility. Too much vague tease and nothing happens just hacks away at people paying attention.

There isn't a need for it when he could insert overall program content.

If he better managed "something big is coming", then people would actually pay attention to those more often and his credibility would skyrocket...and that would probably increase his economic opportunities as well...
 
That’s how the game is now, every insider says the same thing. Just wait and see what happens, no need to hate on him.
