When i was at the App St game, people were booing. Lashlee has gotten under people skin. I can only imagine how angry they were for Mich St. Its really a sewer. There is a real chance this season tail spins in 5 or 6 wins. There is not a single sure win after the next game. What a sorry state. I named my top 5 in another thread. Cristobal, Hugh Freeze, Mark Stoops, Joe Allen from Indiana, Mike Leech. Add Schiano, all experienced HCs. Would give Joe Brady an interview and Kiffin a possible mention. We cant continue with Diaz. He is the worse coach we had since Butch. Some fete that

Sorry, not buying any of the "insider" insights - anyone who has been around the program for any length of time knows that the amount of actual insider insight revealed by these posters is miniscule at the quantum level. The BOT will do what it does - which is to say it will do nothing until the financials tell them it has to do SOMETHING, in which case it invariably does something incredibly stupid.

We had everything to play for when playing UVA. Good team and the season was laying out for a division (I believe) title. Then we blew it against UVA and everyone including the AD knew that was the end.

The USF game only stamped it.

Interesting fact I went to every game home and away in 2010. UVA fumbled the ball while running out the clock and we almost recovered and would have probably won the game because it was on their 30.

Also my seat were right below the presidents box at Hard Rock and during the USF game I watched Kirby (AD) walk in and sit beside Shalala and have a very intense conversation in the front row while other staff prevented anyone else from getting around them. I knew then Shannon was gone.

I’m referring to the FSU game because an article in the Miami Herald mentioned Holocutt was given the green light to make a decision on Shannon after the FSU loss and the loss to UVA. Not that it matters now.

Who made the decision? The Associated Press says Hocutt made the final call. But sources say UM President Donna Shalala and the board of trustees gave Hocutt the green light to get rid of Shannon after the Florida State debacle and loss at Virginia.
