Mark Stoops is a lazy fat fool. I know kids who play for and have played for him. He doesn’t even know the players names. It’s insane… he’s become a politician.

Because he can win at Miami? Not that I want him here but c’mon. Since the 80’s, everyone who has had success (Coker doesnt count) at Miami has ended up in the NFL.

Aside from all those details you shared his team's look considerably tougher & more prepared than what we have right now. But he'd be like my 7th or 8th choice right now.

Are you serious? Stoops would bounce in a NY second. He’s been here when this thing is rocking , he knows what it can be. That being said they can keep his ***. We should aim higher.

outside of Mario and Lane. Hugh Freeze and Mark probably best options.

There’s so much young talent on this team. Manny and staff will waste it but a real coach can turn us around next year. Think about each position

QB - TVD and Garcia

RB - Don, Rooster

WR - Keyshawn, Romello, Restrepo, Brashard Smith, George

TE - Arroyo

DE - Harvey, Roberts, Chantz

DT - JHH, LT

LB/Striker Keontra, Chase Smith, James Williams

CB - Couch, Stevenson, Recruits coming in

S - Avantae, Kitchens

K - Borregales

A recruiting class and a staff away. Problem is you have to can manny so you can tell kids stay patient we are finding the right guy

Yes, I am serious. Some of you all think coaches are watching their phones for the call come to Miami. Listen to Will Manso's podcast. So much needs to be done to facilities to begin to make this program attractive to coaches and players. It may take 8 to 10 years (took Butch about 8) to rebuild program. Times have changed. Miami will never win another championship. Miami cannot compete with programs as Alabama, Clemson, etc. Take off your orange and green glasses. This will not be a quick turnaround.

He speaks fondly of his time at UM. Honestly though, I don't think he'd leave. He's in a pretty good situation for him at UK. With that said, I wouldn't want him.

What ****es me off most about it, is if these board members had a key subsidiary or division of their company being run in this manner, the person running it would be on the street. They don’t need to know about sports to know something is not working optimally. If you’re going to donate that much money and spend your time, you’d think you want to make sure it is being run half competently.
 
You lost me when you said theirs not talented kids on this roster…

Those are some studs who can be all conference and a couple of 1st round potential players…

Throw in wildcard like Garcia at QB

We need a new HC to harness the talent we have and continue to fill the depth chart

8 to 10 years is a stretch. Yes the goal is to be a national champ but I think fans just want a solid program. Wisconsin/Notre Dame level.

My wish from the program:

Win the ACC Coastal far more often than not
Win the ACC on the regular
Be in the conversation for the NC
Enjoy runs when the team has a special QB/other players putting the team over the top
 
Stoops has done a good job at KY. Unless you're completely unrealistic, he's likely hit the ceiling on KY's football potential. They will never be a perennial powerhouse in the SEC. Too many storied programs way ahead of them. He's in a dead end job.

Miami offers Stoops the chance to win it all and cement his legacy as a coach. Plus, who in their right mind would rather live in KY than Miami?
