It wasn't "briefly". I'd be willing to bet he has a state pension, in addition to his Miami Herald retirement plan.

He is soooooo concerned about the financial condition of a private school, yet doesn't give A **** about taxpayer-funded institutions like Florida State (his former employer) and Florida.

I guess it's OK for taxpayers to help to fund the NCAA settlement, but not OK for a private school to do so.

Makes sense...to a person with such an obvious and corrupt bias.
