So Jojo is super talented but cant seem to get his act together to play. Zaquan had the same issues during his brief time at Miami. Edwin Joseph has issues at FSU and even acted like a fool last night after he screwed up several times and told his HC to kick rocks.
Maybe there is a common thread here where the staff at Chaminade doesn't hold players accountable and teach them how to be men and handle their job and they just throw them on the field and dominate lesser competition. Practice is an afterthought at programs that are run like that. Top players are allowed to get away with stuff as long as they can dominate on the field. But that only works in peewee and HS and becomes much more difficult at college and pros. The talent gap shrinks and only the strong survive. The only kids that excel after leaving those situations are the ones with strong fathers or mentors that instill discipline and manhood in them.
Just a thought when a pattern seems to form.
But yeah, the coaches just decided to draw names out of a hat and target a talented kid for fun. Sure.

So if the staff is reason for him leaving, how will that look with other recruits I wonder? Especially if it ends up for some stupid reason. It is Mario though so I expect it is a dumb reason

Theres such a large spectrum to smoking weed. If you smoke weed it isn't just a catch all. If it is effecting your on field performance or in meeting rooms or anything like that for football, then it's a problem, plain and simple. If it doesn't effect anything, who cares. But if you let it effect the team then the coaches will obviously become more strict with that player specifically, because they've already seen it have negative effect. If these guys don't want their weed smoking to be an issue, don't let it become one from the jump

That's like saying "well he drinks".... well yeah an acoloholic drinks, and then you have a person that drinks once a week. Very large difference. There are people that can drink every day and basically only have 1 drink per night, and there are others when they drink they get blackout every time. There are some people when they drink they become absolute ********, some that get happy, etc.

If you let your drug/alcohol use effect Football, the staff will become more strict with you. Seems obvious to me.

1) What did Jojo eat for breakfast yesterday?
2) What did Jojo eat for lunch yesterday?
3) What did Jojo eat for dinner yesterday?

Guess nobody else on this roster wants to contribute. Guess everyone else on this roster is having these issues that are negatively impacting performance/meetings, and the staff is just treating them better and is solely hating on jojo, right? lol. Did Zaquon get kicked off the team partially for him constantly being high? Feel like I remember that. Maybe that could have been his wake up call. but instead he was expected to be a major contributor and he ****ed up and let his drug use negatively effect the team....

I said in the ND game he was definitely blocking hard.
Marrion just needs less snaps regardless, and to be used more as a weapon, so Moore and Jojo should at least be getting 10-15 per game. For how many wr bubbles Dawson likes to run, you'd think Marrion would get it more than Daniels.... I'm fine having jojo start back in blocking and being a clear out guy to get defenders out of space though...

Usually coaches try and get the best players on the field, ya know, their job kind of depends on it. When a healthy player is good to go and they don't see tbe field, there's a reason why and you know what, it isn't the coaches fault.

It's like you have a gun and ammunition. The players are the ammunition, so why in the heck would a coach turn the weapon their way?

Whatever I think of Mario, his livelihood depends on results. He's not going to shoot himself in the foot to f'over a player. The player deserved what comes their way 99 percent of the time.

Ok, so according to everybody on CanesInsight, JoJo hasn’t proven he’s good enough. His professionalism isn’t there, his priorities seem off, and he’s labeled a pothead.
