The JoJo thread

You want to fight with the lawmakers? Can't drive under the influence. It's the law. You really need to get a "best friend" in law enforcement, so he can explain all the laws you just choose to ignore.
I guess our 2001 team should have all been suspended

I can't imagine how many people you would have wanted kicked off the team after we fought the gators before the game in 2000

I don’t know so I will leave it to @TheOriginalCane to clarify whatever he can as I have only jumped in and out sporadically but I think what’s being said is that Markeith Williams and Jojo were high on weed when Williams crashed so Markeith got booted. Jojo got suspended as he wasn’t driving. Jojo became sour over the suspension which @TouchMoney26 thinks is wrong because it’s just weed. The death thing was a hypothetical involving A what if situation where Cam Ward did x,y and z would he be suspended which is irrelevant because he didn’t and is gone anyway.
Ah, nice synopsis. Guess I’m out of the loop as didn’t know about the accident. Glad to hear Markeith was shown the door & may explain why JoJo has been MIA. Young fella should be happy he didn’t experience a similar fate.

Aldarius Hayes. Look it up. Two separate incidents, two separate car accidents. The fatal accident involved Aldarius Hayes in Clearwater.

Fully aware of the Hayes accident, but didn’t catch the connection to JoJo & unaware of a separate accident involving Williams. Promise to read all 53 pages next time. Thanks

Sure. A bunch of distracting false-equivalents to try to confuse people.

Tell me about all the DUIs during 2001. Let me know if Coker swept it under the rug for "talent" the way you propose.

As for the Gator fight, who gives a ****. You are trying to compare two dissimilar things.

You're just a bad person. An awful human being who is actually advocating for athletes and high schoolers to drive under the influence of weed, and for no disciplinary action to be taken if the person has a lot of football talent.

Oh now you dont want to discipline players for breaking the rules and the law.. yeah okay

Im a bad person for wanting the program to help kids instead of throwing them away

Ok buddy

I never said what you distort my statements to be. In other words, not only do you lie personally, you also lie about what I just said.

There is a special place in **** for liars such as yourself.

You follow all the rules right?

We had so many players smoking weed, drinking and they were our best teams we've had in the program.

If we followed your approach some the greats that came through the U would have been kicked off the team if it was up to you or would have received serious suspensions which would have led to miami not being great

Show me where I EVER said "kicked off the team". Discipline, yes. Your distortions? No.

You're just a no-good lying liar.

For weed use no. For weed use driving and accident - that’s problematic, wouldn’t you say?

You know what DOESN'T help kids? Letting them get away with things without facing consequences for it. Requiring consequences isn't "throwing a kid away" , it's helping him grow up

I’m not saying getting high and driving is okay, everyone’s different. But common sense says it’s not some terrible crime and the world isn’t going to end if someone takes a few bong rips or smokes a blunt and drives.

I’m also not saying kids should be allowed to do whatever they want, but there’s a difference between minor incidents that don’t need to be blown out of proportion and serious ones where a suspension or kicking a kid off the team is warranted.

This has gone so far off the rails.

Jojo needs to work harder and make the most of his opportunities when he gets to play.

He hasn't doesn't **** here and between the weed, suspect car accident, injuries, pouting and whatever else is going on ... it doesn't help him get on the field and actually do something.

As @Memnon stated the only thing missing is Uncle Luke.

Just STFU and work hard or GTFOH.

Nonsense. I'm all for legal weed, but driving while high is and should be illegal. Add in that they are underage so it would be illegal for them even if it were legal like alcohol, and yes it's an issue. No one kicked him off the team, and reports of his attitude aren't helping. He needs to realize what he did is hugely problematic, take it seriously instead of downplaying it as no big deal, suck it up and accept the punishment, and work his *** off during practice to re-earn the trust and respect of the staff .. like an adult
