another player not getting any action at all is Brantley - with his success in his career so far, this is a huge step back for him but to see him on the sideline as well engaged and getting hype truly speaks volumes about them.

@TheOriginalCane take your UM degree and go frame it and go work in the athletic department and go fix jerseys while at it (do something good )and put a badge on and make sure everybody is in bed by 8pm

What message do you send the team when you overlook broken rules? That the rules don't matter. Then, you lose integrity and the people that bought into everything. Once you lose integrity and the people that bought in and did what they were supposed to do, you lose the whole team.

Making excuses and enabling bad behavior is **** poor leadership. Hopefully the kid locks in and shows us how talented he is in the future WHILE doing what he's supposed to do off the field.

I don't think Cam would've put himself in that position to begin with, but there has to be some form of consequences. Bench him if that was the standard set.

"Your best friend". Beyond being another hilarious lie (that you have any friends), I'd point out that the past is the past. What your alleged friend told you years ago no longer has relevance in 2025. I know what is happening now. You knew what was happening back in the 2000s.

If Cam Ward (shortly after another player killed 3 people in a car accident) had been involved in a car accident involving the presence of controlled substances, and the positive testing of more than one player for such substances, I would have advocated suspending him until he did everything he needed to do to re-earn his position on the team.

Fortunately, Cam Ward was a mature adult IN ADDITION to being talented, and he never put Miami into a position to have to make such a difficult decision. The same cannot be said for JoJo Trader and others.

Controlled substance as in weed?

Ok, I’m completely lost after 53 pages or whatever. When last checked there was suspicion of weed & now people are referencing a fatal car accident. What have I missed?

I don’t know so I will leave it to @TheOriginalCane to clarify whatever he can as I have only jumped in and out sporadically but I think what’s being said is that Markeith Williams and Jojo were high on weed when Williams crashed so Markeith got booted. Jojo got suspended as he wasn’t driving. Jojo became sour over the suspension which @TouchMoney26 thinks is wrong because it’s just weed. The death thing was a hypothetical involving A what if situation where Cam Ward did x,y and z would he be suspended which is irrelevant because he didn’t and is gone anyway.

Aldarius Hayes. Look it up. Two separate incidents, two separate car accidents. The fatal accident involved Aldarius Hayes in Clearwater.

Yeah it affects everybody diffrent. But, overall I know nfl ncaa players smoke weed and live an normal life driving etc for the past 60 years lol

If edge and willus hit a blunt and drove a car.. I wouldnt say anything

The "death situation" was a specific reference to the Aldarius Hayes accident.

I'm sure there were lots of "factual differences" in all of the vehicular offenses at UGa, but one of them ended up in fatalities.

At some point, you have to look at the bigger issue, and try to prevent any tragedies.
