The future of the OL

I agree the last two cycles have been below par for what we need. This class is awesome.

I wouldn’t give up on SJ. He’s in a weird position where his natural position is center but he needs to learn to play center. Once he’s comfortable snapping, his quickness and flexibility will play up.
Thats why the portal is there.
These last classes should build depth and we may get two starters out of it.

We should be portal shopping a Tackle...I would personally pass on a Center unless a huge one falls in our lap. But a Bookend tackle in the Portal ill personally take. Maybe 2 players out the portal depending how it plays out the rest of the szn. If Markel Bell returns ( i doubt this) then we dont need a tackle and may grab center again (not sure on rodriguez elgibility)

Cantwell will be logging reps next year regardless.

Isn't SJ a freshman

I will just bookmark this post and we will revisit in 3 years.

Please don’t count Markell Bell. He was a juco guy and not within the context of what I was saying. They have no future contributors outside of maybe Buchanan.

Lots of JAGS!!!
You cant not COUNT A JUCO guy he was int he **** class and played one year of juco ball.

HE IS DEFINITELY TO BE COUNTED SMH.

You can book mark it all you want lol.

*Im iwlling to bet if they all had one more star you wouldnt be calling em jags because im sure you havent seen any of em play and just going off recruiting rankings...which is stupid because just like u the scouts at 247/ rivals dont know what they are evaluating when looking at offensive lineman

Plazz
Minaya
Francavilla
Wilkerson
Campbell

All the above will never start here.

Buchanan is a potential starter

SJ is too small and will struggle to be an impact player.
Sorry but you dont know that. Cooper was a 84 or so 3 star picked up in the salvage class and he has been a 4 year starter. These guys have the chance to sit, develop their bodies and learn the positions. They all have the bodies to play D1.

we'll see as the year progresses, but if bell chill and develop one more year, he's a first round guy

Why is he in a weird position? Did ppl really think he was gonna come in and start at C in 1-2 years.

25-

https://247sports.com/Player/seuseu-alofaituli-46115517/ -Center of future

https://247sports.com/Player/max-buchanan-46132248/ - Guard of future

2 huge developmental tackles.

https://247sports.com/Player/jaden-wilkerson-46146569/ - Heard some buzz on him already.

Pairing that with the 26 class is pretty big.

*Hellw e already got 27 guys lined up and committed.
I’m not an insider but have been told by quite a few people now that Minaya is pretty legit

It was tough watching the Dolphins OL after Saturday, so I decompressed by watching clips of our commits. Some major takeaways- Joel Irvin is abusive, Jackson Cantwell has dynamite in his hands, Canon Pickett is an athlete in a guard's body, Ben Congdon is a lean, athletic mover at 6'7, Rhys Woodrow looks like a true center and JJ Sparks is a phone-booth guy.

Jackson Cantwell

Joel Ervin

Canon Pickett

Gonna be a long year for y'all dolphins fans. If you ever needed proof you gave the wrong QB 200 plus million, just watch him get horribly out classed by Daniel Jones...

"Guys that dispute my claim don't count, bro!"
It’s guys in the pipeline. Not guys already starting and leaving this year. Not hard to understand. I think DMoney agrees that the last two cycles have been underwhelming and most of those guys have not generated much buzz as future starters.

Also Mario seems to agree by taking 6 guys and if Kolojoy would flip then 7.
