The Foreclosure (7/12)

So every DC he hired was just a figurehead? You hire a guy at DC just to collect a paycheck and say you go here and you go here. Come on Saban could have anyone and hired Steele.
Correct. Until things go south, then it’s the DC’s fault.

Damien Martinez was literally unstoppable in that game

He went to the bench for Lyle. We went 3 and out twice in a row and the rest is history

I’m all for resting running backs but if there was ever a time to put the game on someone’s shoulders it was Damien Martinez right there not a true freshman

Not saying the game would have been different of course. Who knows.

Just a poor feel for the game

Dammit I said I would never bring that up again…
Smile through the pain

He didn’t kneel out the clock against GT, doesn’t know how to manage the clock, had to hire an unknown staffer to do this very basic job for him.
wait till you find out every single coach has a analyst for this role.

We operated extremely well with clock and situation management this past season imo. We will see this season how much of that was just pure faith in Cam though.

Recruit rankings man everytime we get a highly ranked kid they push his ranking down lmao.

Florida outside of lj McCray and lagway now brown and hanks and the Tampa receiver they stole from Oregon and Stubbs are the only kids they have I would’ve wanted. They got cormani because he’s an idiot who took terrible advice. We bring in quality players in high school and the portal.

I think we’re getting screwed in these big battles because we’re in this weak *** conference that nobody respects tbh but that’s just my opinion not a fact.
Yeah my comment looked worse because I wasn’t reading the conversation so that’s my fault 🤣

I’m not mad about our recruiting class at all. Not mad about Mario’s recruiting. Losing Cooper would be crushing but it’s still only July. I don’t worry too much until the dust settles

I’m not gonna cry foul because I said something positive about UiF and that deserves my comments being taken some kind of way even if that’s not what I meant

Napier is a legit useless **** but they’ve landed some really good players we’ve wanted badly as well

So it was another horrific hire then or was that unknown coach not hired when Mario didn’t know what a qb kneel was? And then accepted absolutely no accountability for in his postgame presser btw.

I haven't read the preceding 21 pages, but I think it's fairly obvious what's going on. The Southeast Conference basically got together and decided that they were going to stop Mario and each are taking one of our recruits to sway. They are over spending on that Miami target. It's obvious to me. We better win a bunch of games this fall or we will be last seasons USC
He is a threat to the southeast conference superiority of getting all the top recruits, particularly in the area and splitting them amongst themselves

My issue with Dawson is sometimes he has a weird feel for some games when it was painfully obvious what we should be doing. One comes to mind is Louisville with some 4th down play calling.

I have no clue, maybe it was the cam ward effect wanting to air it out.

It’s still early but these crown jewel misses are bad I can’t lie but Mario usually finds a way to bring in good players regardless of the misses we’ve had so I’ll give him grace.

Hes not perfect but I haven’t felt this good about our program since I’ve been following it this in depth since 07. I think we’re going to have a great year and that’s going to help us with some big time kids even if it’s not these south Florida turncoats.

The running back carries to me bothered me because they felt rehearsed. Like so and so is playing this series no matter what

Sometimes you gotta scrap that ****

DAMMIT HOW DID WE GET HERE

August 31st, just get here.
And sorry with the S. Florida kids not believing. Look at the Hurricanes and the NFL historically and some of these other programs have been pretenders since I’ve been alive-Texas, Texas a&m, etc. GTFOH.

We got ****ed vs Syracuse and Georgia tech since people want to bring up missed calls. That Horton go ball was a missed P.I. That stalled a drive out. That Martinez run vs cuse that he busted for 60 yards while we’re up wasn’t a holding call on rivers that stalled another drive out. Mario isn’t perfect but we get ****ed in big games more than any other team I swear.
