Would like to throw 15 in the hat for face of the D next year, and a growing part of it right now.

CIS receipe.........hang all over X recruit or frosh nuts, claim they will be next goat and reason we will be back to _______, criticize current 4 year starter who was also hung off nuts who has not "lived up " claim when hanging on nuts......, call them jags, After recruit/frosh sign with us and play for X# of years and doesn't end up living to claim, call them jags. Wash hands and repeat.

True, especially with that kid outta Houston.

I don’t know exactly what our LBs responsibilities are but overall, our defense looks stout.

I think our LBs are smart and make the plays that are supposed to. I’m more than comfortable calling them good football players.

Next year, Brooks is going to be a big kid in the middle for us.

They are the least of our worries. Getting into an old timer's comparison game does nothing but give the usual suspects yet another chance to whine about the good old days and make it about who they used to have lunch with.

Well, maybe because we hope to find linebackers whose names will be mentioned favorably when compared to some of our greats.

Maybe football is different now then what it was in the 80’s. Ever think about that? Maybe you can’t compare the two. Also, i never said they were elite. Learn how to read, or did you stop reading in the 80’s too?

They looked better with Jaquan cleaning up their messes. They’re average to good most games with a flash here and there to very good. Frankly asked to cover too much ground for dudes who just aren’t those types of players

Our MLB takes himself out of a play often. At times he’s not even touched, and he still doesn’t get to the ball. Sorry. He’s average AF. The Frosh made tackles that 55 can’t get to. And he has Superior instincts. He’s going to eat.

Shaq had 2 tackles on Saturday. 3 quarters. The Frosh had 5 tackles in 1 quarter? 55 had 4 tackles against UF.

Sorry. But, our fans are feeding into the propaganda. Shaq still can’t consistently defeat a RB block when blitzing, and he’s a liability against spread sets.

Sam will eat.
