This won't be everyone's favorite update, but I need to give it like I get it.

Bottom line- I don't get the sense we're headed for a blockbuster two weeks. The message I'm getting is that the plan is to win key some battles, go into the season with a healthy class, perform on the field, and then take it to the next level with flips.

We saw that happen in the Class of 2024, and we saw it go the other way in 2025. So we'll see. This is a unique era in college football. There's...

You may not be fluent in D$. Let me offer some assistance...

"Continue to get confidence" = we still lead, but other schools (like Texas) are not going away and pushing.

"Less confidence... will push to the end" = he almost certainly isn't coming, but we'll keep desperately trying to a hail Mary flip.

"Nobody knows... up in the air" = feels like nother local top WR we lose, but he’s playing games so we can't be sure.

"Continuing his process... very professional" = there won't be a commit soon. Kid is going to up the bidding war and then go to the biggest bag. Might be us.

"Good chance to flip" = not the forgone conclusion people have been expecting, but I still think he ends up in this class.

"Still communicating" = he's listening to offers, but he ain't coming.

"Trending away" = he gone.

"In the mix... up in the air... decided over the next few days" = offers and counters are still going out. We upped our initial offer after missing on some DL. Waiting to see how others respond.

Why are we rehashing the same names over and over. What ever happened to guys like Jones, N. & F . Wilson, Kannnon, Redding, Lafayette, and a few others, are we no longer recruiting them, they were all here on a visit.

Agreed. I was prepared for the worst. But there are fewer and fewer kids available. That means the rich are trying to get richer and the desperate are in panic mode. If you follow the posters who know a lot of what is going on none of this is a shock. Land Cooper, Wright, and Kolojay. Then just keep working the others through the beginning of the season.
