this absolute obsession with any kid from south florida sets the fan base up for disappointment. IDC who is recruiting many of them; they aren't coming

I’m not that hung up on the local aspect. We have missed a few good portal options too.

My concern is after last season recruiting should be easier for him. X, George and Horton all improved under him. Trader looked good in the bowl game. In two years he made every WR better. So at what point should that correlate into landing 5 stars? Or turn into the top level portal guys coming here?

Maybe Keys comes and all this is a moot point but until then these are legitimate questions and ones I don’t see Mario overlooking based on his track record with assistants during his time here.

I think we're headed for an excellent, perhaps elite class. But there's a good chance we strike out on Keys, Russel, and Brown, which would cause a total meltdown here.
