They do not have to do that, other HS players can turn on their tape and hear all the media stuff about them and they just know that dude is different. I am just saying if Cantwell just did not recruit other kids a guy like him would not have to, its not saying he wouldn't. He just doesn't have to if he chose not to and kids will still flock to play with him.

There might be unstated interest in playing somewhere where you know an elite is.

It’s another when those kids start talking. It puts action to thoughts.

Heck, you see this at the NBA level. When they have all star games or Olympics or anything where they are together, that’s when plans are hatched. Sometimes years in advance.

Speak that **** into existence with actual words/conversations and watch the dominos fall faster.

TE- Miami could potentially take three TEs- Izzy Briggs (San Joaquin Valley, CA), Zachery Turner (Dallas, TX), and Heze "Superman" Kent (Brunswick, GA). All bring a different skillset to the table and all have real interest.

DE- Some names on the board include Asharri Charles (Venice, FL), Anthony "Tank" Jones (Mobile, AL), Kosi Okpala (Houston, TX), Jaquez Wilkes (Wadley, AL) Daniel Norman (St. Thomas), and DeAnthony Lafayettte (Orlando, FL). Jason Taylor recently had a great visit with Wilkes, and Okpala is a name with big fans in the Hect.

Chauncey Kennon (Sarasota), CJ Hester (Cocoa) and Danny Odem (Orlando) are some more in-state names to know.

S- Devin Jackson (Orlando) remains a high priority. One name to track is FSU commit Tedarius Hughes (Northwestern). Local sources say he's in the midst of a major leap. Miami will get eyes on him tonight at Northwestern's spring game. Jacob Eberhart (St. Louis, MO) is being recruited as a safety, but has the potential to grow into a LB at 220+. He is a big-time athlete who visited in spring. Miami continues to communicate with Blake Stewart (Atlanta, GA).

A lot of this spring evaluation period is about just that- evaluating. Sounds like Cantwell is faster than some of our DBs from last year.

I think LockedOnCanes podcast said Russell’s mom is a UM girls basketball legend. Hopefully that helps with his recruitment.

Or just cut a blank NIL deal which destroys everything and what really young kids want. I mean it’s that simple

The Olympics and that level they are already millionaires. Different thing imo, these are 16-17 year olds

JS got a better offer at OsU he is in the top 5 of NIL last year. Like bruh they paid don’t believe that they didn’t m. He was either above or right below cooper Flagg bruh. Who’s playing and choosing OSU over south beach without a big *** deal? Nothings ever changed yall just know about it now

So if someone offers more that’s where you go regardless of what another recruit is telling you. You need to put yourself in that position first before you say “I would do this”

Okpal is a beast and playing in a defensive system were going to utilize this season. He reminds me of Herbert Scroggins! I hope we get him.

We are going after 5stars like Keys, Pepe, Lamar Brown, hopefully Bowman and Jett. Then Cooper and Russell are basically 5stars if they aren't already... And already have Cantwell

There is like zero chance we get more than 4-5 5stars in this class and even that would be insanely impressive. So who are you choosing? I'd pick Cantwell, Lamar Brown, Tristan Keys, Cooper+Russell...

We have a good lb committed from a top program. Our strategy should be to "make it up in the aggregate" at LB. We need to take at least 3 lbs, especially with Haues' situation and Bobby's injury

Tyler Atkinson is better than every single LB on that list and it isn’t close. Tyler is a game changer. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. And I know for a 100% fact he would be interested in Miami if they make him a priority. If they did it would be down to Miami and UGA for him. A game changing LB is what we need.
