My guess is that this comes down to resource allocation. If we land Matthews to pair with Tatum, Linton, and one other, that’s a strong class to complement the 2026 OL.

The money it would take to secure Epelle is better spent elsewhere, such as securing a high-caliber DT or DE.

I agree but it seems like he was in the class a few weeks ago. He must’ve been asking for a lot when he was here a few days ago.
