If he’s an alpha player then by all means we haven’t had an alpha with a mean streak behind center since Dorsey or Berlin. Guys who hate losing and aren’t afraid to let the team know is what we need.

For whatever it’s worth, do not panic on QB just yet. Not saying there aren’t red flags but let’s see how this plays out.
Too late for that. And it's not just from this offseason. What Mario has done with our QB room has only confirmed the fears many of had when he was initially hired.

Boring/slow offense
Not QB friendly
No premium on scoring lots of points unless we have to

For the record, Miami never formally saw him on the practice field. He was gone before that could happen.

Goes to ECU, doesn’t look as explosive as they thought he was, and passed the second time around.

Same thing for Little.

Why is that hard for people to understand?
 
The sell job on this low level take is right up there with the "Ryan Mayes" and "Larry Hope" hype from back in the day. Hate to be "that guy" but if this were FSU or UF taking him the race to the tears threads would be like the 100M dash at the Olympic finals.
