Sorsby 2 INTs against Arizona

Against the 4 best teams on their schedule Sorsby has 4 TDs, 4INTs, 52/111, and 658 yards

Can add his 5 rushing TDs

TrumpyCane doesn't see the hype around him, guy has looked terrible against the 4 best teams hes played

Hope he steps it up this weekend

Wonder what everyone's opinion on Noah Fifita is

If we’re going to go with a guy like Leavitt or Sellers, we’re going to have to get drastically alter what we do offensively. Asking either of those guys to be Cam Ward or even Carson Beck would be a massive failure. We would have to add a designed quarterback run game to our system because those guys aren’t winning games with their arme.

I brought up Sorsby a couple years ago before we got Cam

Brought him up last year before we got Beck

No bigger fan of his than me for a long time

Still the hype has gotten a little out of hand imo

He’s good. I’d take him over all these other guys but that’s not saying much

TrumpyCane thinks its a bit strange Cig didn't try to keep him at Indiana or was it Sorsby bolted right away before Cig was hired

Good question

I always thought he’d be a good fit for what Dawson likes to do on offense. QB play is down pretty bad so I guess I could see him going pro but it’s hard to say these days

He’s too inconsistent for me to say “we need to chase this guy in the portal” but he’s got legit upside. If you’ve only seen him play the one game against Miami, I understand thinking he’s trash but if you’ve watched him actually play more than once, you’re likely at least intrigued. Literally the week before Miami, he lit up Georgia Tech for 340 and two passing touchdowns and a rushing TD. He’s generally really good at home and crappy on the road, which is par for a second year player. Too inconsistent at the moment but more upside than some of the other guys being tossed around in this thread.

I don't see the mechanics to justify the upside. His elbow is low, his footwork doesn't exist, it's all gaming and random.

If he wasn't from Miami, he wouldn't be talked about on here.

I’m a big massive no to sellers. Why would you bring a guy whose has accuracy Issues that this staff won’t be able to correct?

Agree. If Bailey is the option you might as well go with Emory.
