Low enough that Leavitt should get fitted for a casket if he comes down here. What is the survival rate at UHealth for Lisfranc
Bender is a cyclopsYes compared to Mike freaking Shula it’s a much more qb friendly offense with a HC known for his offenses and coaching qb. If you’ve watched both teams it’s pretty obvious to anyone with two eyes.
I'd be OK with Leavitt, though you get a two-fer with CJ Bailey.
Just NOT LaNorris Sellers.
I’m not asking a question, the “?” Is for effect as it’s redundant. Are you asking which is the better QB based on completion % stats or the talent and team impact?
No more surgery required quarterbacksJust from reading this post …pass on buddy
I have to push back on this. Beck’s ball placement is subpar to me. He might get it to the target but where the ball lands tend to cause the receivers and TE to make abnormal adjustments to the ball and kill their stride. Look at Lofton's TD against NC State. Marion has caught at least 5 slants this season where he has had to contort his body to catch the ball.Beck has always been a very accurate passer. His issue is throwing to the wrong team when he does throw’s incompletions which is why I was hesitant on taking him. Thats why you need to look at the entire pie not just one stat. But completion % is a part of the pie. Yes there’s exceptions of guys playing in easy read air raid offenses but I’ll always want a guy with a high completion percentage. College or pro.
yeah, I would hate to sign a guy from the portal, and have him skip spring, fall, meetings, have his own copy of the playbook that he can study on his own, but instead, sign him from the portal and the first time he interacts with the offense is game one of 2026 season. If we are going the portal right, why can’t we at least find someone to be around 2 years and get familiar with the system?
There’s ppl here who still think Beck is elite & Mario/Dawson are holding him back, they say any QB would look bad under this regime even Mendoza….
Is he going into Portal or is this just a wish list?![]()

You would be correctState taxes probably eating half of it lol
He’s from floridaI wholeheartedly do not understand the deal with Bailey around here outside of this board.
He's a good college QB with inconsistent mechanics playing in a wide open offense. What I saw on Saturday should absolutely steer people away from him.
Leavitt has Moxy, balls, not afraid of big momentsLeavitt seems more laterally quick and Bailey is faster when he’s striding.
i also think mendoza would have been hamstrung here.
NopeCan we outbid Texas Tech here?
Legit asking
Or, hear me out, maybe it is not as much about the player as it was always about Mario/Dawsons approach/playcalling/adapting to personnel.I have this voice in my head telling me Mario and/or Dawson taking Bailey would be the make up for not taking Mendoza last cycle...
Not saying the results would be the same necessarily but there must have been some warts that caused them to let Mendoza go to Indiana... Maybe they won't let Bailey's warts do the same...
IDK. I think they can do much better than Bailey. Not sure who that would be but I don't see him being "the guy"
