"How does the committee justify putting Bama in over FSU but then rank FSU over UGA? If losing Jordan Travis is that significant, then why isn’t it equally relevant with regard to UGA?"

What’s there to sue? The committee is supposed to pick the 4 best teams, not deserving. With Travis, they have an argument to pick fsu. Without him, they are neither deserving or best.

The ACC needs to do some soul searching in how they cheat and manipulate GameDay officiating in favor of certain programs and demonstrably against UM before they go Nuke on the rest of the NCAA.
As they say, fix one's own house before worrying about your neighbors.
 
I get it. They put bama over FSU due to believing Bama is better than FSU due to Jordan travis

but they still have FSU ranked above UGA... so you're telling me that the same committee that says record doesn't matter and picks the best team (Bama over FSU) is also saying that FSU is better than UGA?

The issue here with FSU is two-fold:.

1. Norvell has been there for 4 years and hasn't recruited nor developed for ****. So, FSU fans on this site and elsewhere can get ****ed as they cry and hug their Norvell dolls. If he knows how to manage a college football roster he has talent behind talent.

Sure losing QB1 hurts but you gotta be able to have a competent QB2. FSU's QB2 and QB3 were nothing short of dumpster juice tik tok dancing hoes

2. This is on all ACC ADs (and many others) for not pushing for automatic qualifiers for conference winners into the playoff. How any of these "professionals" not pushing for logical setups and structures for these playoffs or future ones is beyond incompetence. **** l, D1aa (FCS) has been doing it for years...such a simple formate to replicate and rake in the dough.

acc is finished. this was all about keeping the precedent of the SEC champ in the playoff. once michigan and texas won, texas had to be in. bonus for the comittee is 2+2 from new big 10 and SEC as well. with how much the new SEC is gonna beat up on one another i expect an SEC champion with 2 or 3 losses in coming years. that team will always get in the playoff ahead of an ACC team with a better record, if the ACC is still around (which it wont be in its current form)

Never before has an undefeated P5 conference winnner been left out. Never.

But yeah, their squirrelly little list of criteria gives them all the subjective wiggle room they need to make a total sham decision like this.

Like I said, I spent all season hoping FSU wouldn’t make the playoff. But I can be objective enough to see when a total travesty has occurred. The committee is a joke and always has been. It’s just never been made as clear as it is today.

Sounds like the ACC as a major conference breached their duty to advocate on behalf of its membership.

You also can’t ignore the loss of Travis. He’s the ACC player of the year, so he’s the best in the conference. It’s like Vegas not moving the line if Brady or Rodgers goes out. They no longer belong.
