I pulled this from Team Rankings website and highlighted in green which unit has the advantage

The differential in the defensive metrics is why I have confidence in this game. The gap between our defense and theirs is a lot more significant than the gap between the offenses.

I think we hold them to the low 20s, and that should be enough.

The most similar qb we have played in terms of styles would seem like Kevin Jennings right?
Better passer. But he’s one of those QBs that ****es you off because he’s so hard to sack. It’ll be crucial our DBs wrap up on their blitzes. But Texas had success pressuring him. Seems like the more off base you can get him the more his play suffers over time. Texas just beat the **** out of him. Crucial we get pressure early and often without having to send 6-7 guys.

Their OC Collin Klein just got the KC State job, so he might be a bit distracted and not call as good a Game as he usually does.

Anyone know how they choose the officiating crews?
It’s always non con…. So either big 12 or big ten for this game…. If we win, sec or big 12, most likely sec because they won’t get many opportunities with how loaded the playoff is with sec teams

Am ecstatic we got matched up with them. They played baaaaad football to end the year. Teams that limp into the playoffs usually arent able to turn it back on.

I think the more games our offense plays the better it's going to get. Beck is comfy now and we have more diverse weapons than just Toney and CJ in the passing game. Running game looks the best it has since USF.

The swedish TE with the funny name could give our LBers fits, but I think it's as favorable of a matchup as we could have hoped for considering our seeding. Just tackle their WRs and make them drive the length of the field.

Just win and advance, baby.
