Texas A&M thread

They're coverage style is similar to Pitt, but they have a better DL, so we'll see how that shakes out.

Defensively, they have Colin Klein as there OC (remember the KSU QB), so they like jets and horizontal movement to create seams up the gut. So it'll be on the LB to play really well to make sure the run defense is bottled up. Not that concerned about their passing game. Their offense goes through the run to the pass.

I already think about their spead edge rusher with 110k loud fans, we cant even snap ball in empty stadiums without penalty

I love this matchup for us.

We've been to College Station under Mario already. Lost a close one with a bad team.

I think they're easily one of the most overrated teams in the field.
Counterpoint: TAMU looked hella strong mid-season. Klein will call plays this game. I've read the reviews on Reed's inconsistency, but this is still a good team. To play the comp-game, they're like SMU with a better defense, and 2 NFL WRs. I'm glad we're getting several injured players back.

I like our D against anybody anywhere. But we'll have everybody back and healthy.

So.. the entire game is going to come down to which version of our offense we run.

Will we use spacing? That will determine how effective our run game will be. Pringle took off after we started spreading things out.

Will we use tempo or are we going to try to slow things down and turn it into a possession battle?
We would win a possession battle if we do not turn it over. If it’s a shootout we may lose

I think the 3 best teams ranked 5th or later are Oregon, A&M, and Miami. So this should be a good game.

My big worry is they have VERY Explosive potential through the air. And their QB can run. That's really what it comes down to. Their HC is a good DC too, so we can't be ultra conservative either. Wish Klein was leaving to KSU and wasn't calling plays though.

When? Against whom? LSU and Missouri?

Those two games were bookended by a 3-point win over 2-10 Arkansas and a 27-point comeback against 4-8 South Carolina.

They have a good coach and a mobile QB. They will present a challenge. But they're totally beatable and have an overrated home field advantage.

I love it.

Lead nation in sacks and 3rd down defense..
