Texas A&M Game

Love the idea of the 3:30 get down to the game and be able to get back in time for the late Dolphins for a solid 2-0 weekend of Miami football teams.

ABC/ESPN boasts the week’s most interesting docket for its three primary time slots. Four solid games could appear just about anywhere. It has the Big 12’s top choice, which projects as Iowa at Iowa State with Oregon at Texas Tech a close second. It also has two high-profile ACC games: Texas A&M at Miami and Notre Dame at NC State. The raucous Cy-Hawk rivalry provides a great backdrop as a curtain raiser at noon. As for prime time, Notre Dame at NC State has standalone credentials and won’t slice into the Texas-Alabama audience like A&M-Miami would.​

The only issue I see here is ESPN has the US Open. The Women's Final will be on ESPN at 4PM Eastern, so you can remove the Stanford-USC slot. ESPN could put that at 3:30PM on ABC instead.

A win against TAMU and a healthy TVD will result in no worse than 10-3. (Bowl win included) If Miami loses, they’ll be clawing their way to a 8-4, 7-5 regular season.

Such a massive game for us. Could really set the momentum for years to come.

Momentum yes. It also has 0 bearing on the ACC. It would be more meaningful to beat teams like UNC, NC State, Pitt. But a W vs TAMU would be great for program perception as most people view them as the more talented team.

We gotta win those games no doubt but perception of the program this year is gonna be a big deal when it comes to recruiting going forward imo. We can't lose to atm and have them suck it up again this year. It's a big deal, Miami needs to beat them at home.

I disagree but that’s ok. This game will be the indicator of how we even compete in the ACC.

I hear you. But if someone told me we lose vs TAMU, FSU, Clemson but win all the others to go 9-3 I would take it right now considering how bad last year was. I wanna see how this team responds after an eventual loss.
