I need to know which image for cookies I’m using, McDonald’s all American jai lucas or Cookie Monster???Can you put the cookies head on Forrest Gump when he says "I am not a smart man"?
my brother in christ dabo doesnt coach defense. They have mostly Clemson guys filling out the staff and positional roles; not all were former Dabo players tho. They won doing it that way; so then to say that’s the same way he lost doesn’t make a ton of sense to me when his worst 3 year stretch he has had an outsider running his offense.
Chad Morris, who just returned, wasn’t a Clemson guy when Dabo hired him in the first place. His first two defensive coordinators were Kevin Steele then Brent Venerables who were not Clemson guys. He fired his 2 defensive co-coordinators after making the playoffs, then brought in Tom Allen; i can’t see that as a guy who is lost in his own hype.
Haha i feel fanbases turn on everyone eventually. Agree it’s a cult like over there lol im just sayin that cult won a lotta games beforemy brother in christ dabo doesnt coach defense.
he coacheso fense...there are like 30 staffers that are just clemson guys its like a cult over there n your telling me about venerables and tom allen. no sh*t....hes cant wait for Ben Boulware to be his dc.
If you dont think dabo is lost in his own hype i dont know what to tell you lol. The clemson fan base has began their turn on him already.

Offtopic, but what is the reason that Emmert and the NCAA allowed them to pay players too when they weren't SEC? They seemed to be the only team that got a non-SEC exemption for this, snd I never understood it.yea when they were paying for players and others couldnt.
Now that you have a choice not everyone wants to live in clemson,sc and you could buy your own track hawk nn dodge challengers instead of clemson boosters n mcdonalds bags of money
Met Danny Joe Brown once when my old cover band had a gig near his house in Davie. Good guy.Fun fact, Molly Hatchet once played at my high school football stadium. And, yes, it was post-Flirtin' With Disaster. Which I just listened to this morning while I was flipping around Sirius.

I think it has to go deeper than that though. It is a good question.
They did get hit hard after Charley Pell and later (I believe) under Danny Ford.
They have always been looked at as an "SEC" school in a basketball conference.
The only half-baked answer I have is that perhaps they have not recruited heavily inside SEC
states except Florida and Georgia, which everyone traditonally does.
Most of their roster is Florida, Georgia, Carolinas and mid-Atlantic.
I think it has to go deeper than that though.
I always wondered if Mark Emmert and Dabo had a closer relationship, especially since they were both very vocal about wanting CFB to stay the same and against players not getting paid, unionize, etc. Maybe a Saban connection?
