The one thing Saban has above all his former assistants is his uncanny ability to know when trends are changing. Spread offense, changing defense, etc. Kirby is stubborn and a control freak. The JT Daniels situation makes me wonder if Kirby did his due diligence on the kid before bringing him in; it seems like the injury was far worse than a normal ACL tear. Or he re-injured it when he got to UGA for the summer practices... OR he just isn't as good as he was before the injury.... there is talk on their 247 site of Daniels possibly transferring at the end of the season.....

some wrong here.

-He is LATTTTTTE on the spread offense....super late.

-Changing defense im not even sure about that...as his defenses started getting lit up by teams with competent offenses. When he first got in the sec there wasnt many. And the teams with similar or close to talent of Bama ran prehistoric offenses that saban's defense was built for.

TX A&M, OLE MISS is on like their 3rd coach and is still running up scores on him.

What Saban has over his former assistants is he remains at Bama. Thats it. He isnt building anything new, he is just plugging in cogs. His interchangable parts are the 5 star players and his bevy of coaches that were former hc's that would come there and essentially work for peanuts.

His former coaches have to go elsewhere and build up programs he aint doing that. He has the biggest budget, unlimited resources, crazy boosters buying up recruits, etc.

Kirby Smart is the only one i can think that has that...buuuuuuuttt runs a prehistoric offense and chased off qb talent.

Lawrence Cager went there and was their best wr. Let that sink in.....Cager a guy the fans hated here went there and KJ OSBORN their wr group.

Not sure where this guy ends up but no way he goes to that dumpster fire at Tennessee unless him and his family got 250K or more plus jobs. Pruitt is terrible and so is Tennessee
 
This dude is 100% decommitting from UT. Vols are going to go 3-7 and Pruitt will be gone. IDC if Vols were 8-5 last year and won the Gator bowl. Fans get what they want in Tennessee.
 
One of the issues here is that Troutman and Johnson are already hot heads. They’ve been suspended for blowups.T2 is even more unstable which makes for a volatile mix.

The other argument is that we are pooling our risk by taking three edgy personalities and hoping one works out.

Problem with being a student of Belichick and Saban is that they are desperate to copy everything that they have learned.

Patricia sucks, Judge fired his O-Line coach and his players dislike it and a lot of other Belichick students were unable to do well. They are all trying to do the exact same stuff Bill and Saban do.

Flores is the only guy that got it, it seems.

I've been against taking T2 since the beginning but watching how bad our LB unit needs an infusion of talent, I'm becoming more comfortable with the thought of bringing T2 on board and hoping for the best.
 
Yo @Liberty City El bro was the word with this we need him and I cannot in my wildest dreams imagine him leaving Miami, he seems to be really invested in the HSFB scene here and has a ton of friends

Kid have the talent of T2 or even troutman?? I’m under the impression this is a legacy who is good enough for a scholly I don’t like hearing the kid is a hot head and we have to worry about locker room culture with him

I’ve only been saying this for months but he’s “elite bruh”...
 
A hot head does not always mean they become a locker room cancer. Players who are always pointing fingers at others or complaining about coaches or playing time can be more problematic and cause division.

I like linebackers who are overly aggressive and play with fire and mean intentions. Doesn't bother me at all...in fact prefer it as long as they dont bring that attitude into the locker room.

Giants players love Judge. Also learn about why he fired the Oline coach. He let garret take his OLine guy even though judge wanted the dude from the pats he just hired. So he hired the coach he wanted originally but allowed Garrett to give his Guy a shot

It won’t matter..by year 2 or 3, they’ll look like the LB’s we have now.
