In 2016 usc had under tee Martin:
#20 offense in the country
6.40 ypp

In 2017 usc had under tee Martin:
#13 offense in the country
6.55 ypp

That’s a far cry from what we had this year and even previous years as our oc

In addition to that he’s a dynamic recruiter and one of the best in the business

he wont be able to recruit for a one year rental and has no sfla ties and even if he pulls he will be gone in a year and his kids will decommit so whats the purpose?

Maybe he has some ties but its a one year rental, hes smart to say that knowing a yes man coach would hire someone who says exactly that.

You don't hire a recruiter to fix a major schematic issue also.

Tee Martin can recruit anywhere he’s at, he’s an elite recruiter

Tee Martin just had playcalling duties stripped from him at USC.

SC finished 77th in total offense, 77th in scoring offense, 103 in rushing offense (which was worse than us) and 45th in passing offense. I'm good.
QB coach? Sure, he is one of the best recruiters in America and would be an upgrade over lil Richt, but playcaller? Nah. Yes it would be an “upgrade” but barely.

Previous 2 years he had the #20 offense and #13 offense at usc.

Look at how much production they lost last year including Sam darnold and Ronald Jones
 
Enough of the guys who have just been fired. We got lucky with Manny but I don't think it would happen again. Need someone who is proven and has some type of track record.

Kinda just proved my point and further reinforced why I don’t want him.

Darnold was a top 5 NFL draft pick, and their offenses were good with him and drastically fell off afterwards. We don’t have that on our roster lol. We need to do better is all I’m saying.

Lol you absolutely take him if he wants in.

The problems at USC weren't his doing. Clay took over playcalling duties from him and they may have actually gotten worse.
