Couch should take Ivey spot. We are basically in 1 high every play. Need guys who can man up the receiver and that's Couch
Continued development is the key... I might be doubtful but i haven't lost hope.He got beat at times in that game and vs fiu, but still doesn’t erase what he did in the season as a whole. He plays cb so of course they will get beat at times
Is this a known thing? about Ivey smoking?Maybe with Jarren gone Ivey will take his opportunity seriously and stop smoking... maybe.
I am not sure anyone has that answer!!!I still have flashbacks of the fake punt where Ivey let the gunner go right past him. I still don’t understand what happened. After all, we kept our defense on the field to guard against the fake punt.
Cost us a recruit too - blew him off to go smoke. Is this a known thing? about Ivey smoking?
Yeah but if you in man free with no help I wouldn’t want my DBs gambling like that..just play your technique..it’s easy too say that as a fan thoI agree but I’ve seen to many times when our guys were in position and if only they turned around it was an easy pick
I just feel to take that next step our guys need to do a better job of tracking the ball
Blades looks solid to me. I also don’t think Ivey is as bad as people acted last year. He got outhustled for a lot of balls he was in position for. He can toughen up there.
Ivey spent most of his Soph year looking like a low 2-star true freshman that enrolled a week ago and was a converted WR within the last week. He played like he was in simultaneous pie and chili eating contests after not sleeping for a month and recently contracting coronavirus.
He was absolutely awful.

He's slow & has bad feet, no recovery speed at all, he was a huge liability in coverage.
Every year young cbs play early, a sophomore cb playing their 2nd year is not out of the normGoing in on ivey smh..fact is he and blades shouldn’t have had to play that early and that much if the CBs numbers were ideal..from a recruiting and attrition standpoint. Unless it’s a elite prospect your gonna see growing big time from a young first year starting CB..that’s just fact..u saw it with Brandon Harris, Brandon McGee, Van Dyke, Tracy, Burns..you go down the list of young Corners we’ve played early and you’ll find they all struggled.
It wasn’t a weed test that Ivey failed, not sure that’s why weed is being insinuated.
the problem was they didn’t use bandy in the slot much this year
I totally agreeBlades was our best CB last year, and our best cover corner since Corn Elder. Not sure why the CIS hype train isn't on him, he had a great year.
Like patchan over GR15. That’s on manny and baker- can’t blame offense or Enos for that. Tells me our coaches can’t readily evaluate or develop talent.I thought blades played really well last year. It made no sense that Ivey started all the games over him.
