Sounds like Shannon should dial up some Norvell screens!!!!!
Nothing slows the blitz and rush down faster than a good screen or two like we just saw!!!

If Dawson runs a delay screen to the RB I’ll $10 to canes connection in his honor. $20 if it works.

As much as we say Mensah was "off" this game (as with the second half of Wake), he was covering up a lot of blemishes by getting the ball out quickly and maneuvering in the pocket.

I don’t disagree BUT if he just took the easy check down 4-5 times
It would have been better
He seemed to be looking for kill shots vs taking the simple check down and that caused some additional pressures imo

A GM told a scout who told his agent you don’t check down off the island.

Not only was this number #1 in the ACC last year, it was #1 in the country by a MILE. I believe headed into the playoffs we were allowing a 15% pressure rate.

Mensah is going to need to be on his game (obviously) if we’re gonna win a championship this year. He’s going to have to make individual plays avoiding pressure. We’re probably also going to have to condense the playbook some and get the ball out a little quicker.

Cant put it all on mensah to run for his life.. That is not a good recipe.. Oline has to be better, much better. struggling wit 4 man rush stunts from terrible fsu team..

Makes sense for Pitt - they have a very experienced OL (by year's end, they'll have 3 starters with 40+ starts each). They're only inexperienced guy is their center but even he started last year.

Dawson doesn't have a TE or RB screen on his sheet. Maybe we can use the $10 to print a new sheet with a few extra screen plays to RB/TEs.

RB I agree but IIRC he's run a couple screens to Lofton this year.

If Jordan Lyle scores 9 total career TD's by the end of this season I'll send Richards $9. Saquon had 8 his freshman season

I think the Rivalry allure made him play a little Hero ball. I am pretty confident he’s going to learn from this ROS and play more like he did the first half against wake by taking what the defense gives him and take shots when they are there.
