As much as we say Mensah was "off" this game (as with the second half of Wake), he was covering up a lot of blemishes by getting the ball out quickly and maneuvering in the pocket.

I don’t disagree BUT if he just took the easy check down 4-5 times
It would have been better
He seemed to be looking for kill shots vs taking the simple check down and that caused some additional pressures imo

A GM told a scout who told his agent you don’t check down off the island.

And Rodriguez is a good puller in space, throw a little middle screen to the RB and let him set the rake

Mensah is going to need to be on his game (obviously) if we’re gonna win a championship this year. He’s going to have to make individual plays avoiding pressure. We’re probably also going to have to condense the playbook some and get the ball out a little quicker.

Dawson doesn't have a TE or RB screen on his sheet. Maybe we can use the $10 to print a new sheet with a few extra screen plays to RB/TEs.

Cant put it all on mensah to run for his life.. That is not a good recipe.. Oline has to be better, much better. struggling wit 4 man rush stunts from terrible fsu team..

Makes sense for Pitt - they have a very experienced OL (by year's end, they'll have 3 starters with 40+ starts each). They're only inexperienced guy is their center but even he started last year.

RB I agree but IIRC he's run a couple screens to Lofton this year.
