Tate Martell is the ideal QB2

I’m not sure if he lacks talent. But from the sounds of things, he’s not the most talented QB in Miami.

And where that comes from is the reports throughout the spring.

A lot of people were in denial about the issues ever having existed but dsdd said the other day that he cleaned them up.

He gets most of his credit on this board from the first drive against the #1 Defense but I saw a balanced attack where Cam Harris had two big runs.

I have not taken anything away from Tate this whole time. If he wins it then he wins it. I just think he’s an ideal QB2.

The one thing I've heard Manny repeat time and again - he's tired of everyone talking about talent - talent doesn't get anything done - only hard work and effort.

I am not there - but I haven't heard of many putting forth more extra work than Tate, Osborn, and a few others.

Manny wants a COACH on the field at QB, not a talent at throwing, or a talent with the strongest arm.

Manny may be BS'ting us - but if he's serious - I think we all know who the QB will be.

At the end of the day, I noticed everyone tiptoe around the reports that N’Kosi was far out in front. I will start another thread with both posts confirming that if anybody missed it.

I just wanted to start a thread acknowledging this very real possibility. It’s only stupid or dumb or a porst if you like to live in denial or create false narratives to help you sleep at night.

Blah blah blah...

Given the fact that Tate is already 21 and will only have one year of eligibility after this season (I believe he can red shirt)...

Stopped reading right there. You gotta at least have a single clue of what you're talking about if you wan to be taken seriously.

Tate has already redshirted. He's a rs-sophomore with three years remaining to play.

Tate will be the starter against uf. What Tate can do with his legs and letting Enos build an offense geared around Tate will give us the best chance to win if the oline play is questionable.
I saw in the Orlando Spring game that Tate has a problem seeing the middle of the field, so deep post, seam, deep outs and crossing routes have lower percentages with Tate.

It's my opinion Tate has elite talent and if Enos designs his offense around his skillset, that gives us the best chance to win. Before anyone questions it, again, it's my opinion and everyone has one.

based on what we saw in spring, i disagree on any of the 3 being elite. theyre all very talented, but havent shown it to UM fans yet.

but his HS and any of the other 2 HS tapes have shown theyre elite or something. id like to see all 3 QBs step up their play from spring to be able to go crazy over any of them.
