atm isnt good. we can beat them. were gonna have to play a lot better though and were gonna have to open it up on offense bc we dont have a talent advantage esp on the lines. if we play in a phone booth again, were not gonna like the results

We have to at least keep them honest taking shots down the field

I don’t even care if TVD throws a couple of INTs on deep passes. Last year Rambo changed our offense by making those plays.

Having George back (I think yeah?) Zion, Rooster etc

But I totally agree if we get stuck in a phone booth we will struggle they are too physical for that

agreed. Kirby ran off an elite QB talent bc of his stupidity and it took him years to finally build the team he wanted.
 
Jimbo will have to play King because of his mobility. The Oline wasn’t good against App State and if they play Johnson next Saturday, we will feast

The crazy thing is App State literally DID beat their *** at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. I agree that's not a great approach for Miami, but still was shocked how they beat them more than that they beat them.

agreed but I dont think its gonna work twice lol esp once TAMU watches our Southern Miss game.

I’m hoping that we come out in a brand new wide open style but I fear that Mario is creaming over seeing how app state won
And we’re gonna ground and pound them

We’re better off playing against King over Max. King may be more talented and athletic but hes much more likely to throw ints and fumble than Max. Max is very conservative and doesn’t take risks. We need to force turnovers to beat them.

Considering we just let a true Frosh make some plays in his first start, on the road...mmm, I'm not counting on the TAM QB having a rough night.
The harsh reality is we looked exactly, under Mario vs a lesser team, as we have the last decade, it's early, but I was undwhelmed and disappointed to say the least.
This is not a rush to judge Mario, just the Achilles heel we can't seem to shake.

Turnovers are nice, but I don't think it's a requirement for a win other than having less than your opponent.

I'm sure we'll see a different AtM team on Saturday. They were embarrassed by App St. I expect their defense to play well.

However, aside from changing QBs, I don't know how much their offensive will improve in a week. I do expect Jimbo to dial up a lot of deep pass plays because we've done a poor job of defending deep balls in both of our games. He's going to challenge our DBs until they show than can cover.

We desperately need our defensive line to get pressure on the QB.

If we can get pressure and cover in the secondary, we win. I have no worries about our run defense.
