TAMU

In TAMUs first game against Sam Houston, here's how their possessions went

1st half
Punt, missed FG, TD (66 yard pass), punt, INT, FG, Punt, TD (63 yard pass)

2nd half
TD (12 plays), INT, TD (43 yards), Punt

So besides the opening drive of the 2nd half, basically the only way they can score is hitting a deep pass.

TAMU rushed for 110 yards- 35 of those were from the QB.

Against the App Store, TAMU ran for 89 yards, and 23 came from King.

Their OL doesnt seem particularly good at run blocking.

Bottom line - just make sure no WRs get behind the D and TAMU will have trouble moving the ball and putting up points. I expect Mario Runtheball will lean on his formula of heavy dose of the run game, eat clock, and play D- which might actually be a decent strategy against TAMU.

today was brutal man

I live outside of cleveland and i'm getting a ton of **** for today's game

that intentional grounding no call and that bs roughing call have made me sick
Rhule turtled up for a FG with the ball inside their 10 with about 90 seconds left - in a ball game that we had no right to be in at that point and in the midst of a 7 game win streak.

Idgaf about the refs - **** Rhule for being a coward.

A&M had 180 yards against APP, the same app that gave up 63 to UNC

i'm sure they'll play decent against us but I'm not worried about their offense lighting us up by any means

I don’t know why some of y’all fixate on things that aren’t wrong with the team. We are good vs the run, perhaps really good, and we struggle vs the pass. TAMU is terrible at running the ball, scrambles included.

Dont let your misery cloud reality.

Tamu QB will look like Pat Mahomes Saturday night, that’s just the way it works for us.

I predict Mesidor, if healthy, will make a profound impact on the game. If he can put some consistent heat on the QB, we have a better than 50% chance of winning. This assumes, of course, that the O performs and doesn't have a bunch of TO's.

I’m expecting to see a lot more of Arroyo/Mallory in the pass game and safety help for whoever is at CB opposite Stevenson. I’d challenge him to win his matchup all night.

We also played two horrible horrible teams.
That’s fine, but Bethune ran for 200 yards yesterday and their QB had 100 of it. Southern Miss has a very capable back and we shut him down completely. Literally 1.4 yards as a team.

TAMU has not shown the ability to run the ball, less than 200 yards through two games against two bad Ds. King has 58 of them.

I am not predicting a win, but y’all gotta chill.

I think its more about our perpetual inability to stop a qb that can run mixed in with the magical way we let below average QB look like first rounders

I'm officially convinced that most of our fans actively root for failure. TAMU isn't Alabama, if Miami comes out, executes and pays attention to detail, we have a legit shot. Mario has experience in these games, and he's beaten far better teams than this before. The key will be keeping TVD clean. TVD with time will shred anyone, even this TAMU secondary, which is **** good. X will feast in the slot, that's what worked for Appy State, that and the run.
