SWASEY GONE

All you Swasey, Ice, Beard, etc. loyalists need to check back in here when they either remain unemployed, return to high school or end up somewhere not exactly impressive in a lateral move at best. Let's see if the open market values them at all. The Randy Shannon crew is STILL waiting for him to even get a coordinator job. New Year's kudos to The Grim Richter for continuing this oh so necessary purge.

The Grim Richter is walking around Hecht in a black cloak with a feather duster instead of a scythe. Call this dude The Maid because he's cleaning house. This place needed to be turned upside down, and I'm glad we're doing it.

Look at our team compared to other top programs. Your eyes will tell you. In positions where you need size we're blubbery slobs like McDermott and Gall and Darling and Courtel. Top programs have big OL, but they don't have gigantic jiggly slob guts. They're just big dudes shaped like refrigerators. Take a look at Baylor's OL and DL. They're gigantic strong looking dudes. They don't look like sloppy rednecks like our guys.

How Canes fans that purported to watch the games did not see this is beyond me - but I learned a long time ago very few Canes fans actually know anything at all about College football and dont't really watch the games....too busy buying the "swagiest" Canes snap-back at footlocker I suppose. Alabama last night would literally prison rape the Canes squad in the weight room the last decade, let alone hang 50 points on them at will.

Our entire program needs a complete makeover. And I ain't talking about the fat chick makeover on one of those cable shows where they buy her a new dress that squeezes her fat arms and makes her look even worse and cake some makeup on her bloated face to make her look like a Chinese dictator and give her a redneck Grand Ole Opry boofant hairdo. I'm talking real makeover.

Guys, stop being naive, the only way you can get an edge in strengthen and conditioning is not by hiring another coach. This is not rocket science. You need start a perfornance enhancing drug program just like Lance Armstrong had with the U.S. Postal team. Look what Alabama did to Michigan state last night. There wasn't any trick plays or better strategy. Below is what I posted in other thread but I think is better suited for this one.

Alabama dominates in the trenches to a degree that suggests they cheat. Maybe its great recruiting and player development or just maybe they are juicing. The relative lack of dominance int the NFL of Alabama players suggests that with aggressive PED testing they just dont seem that good. There is always that question

This. Both teams were even in the first and second quarters. Then fatigue starts kicking in. Are these big time programs being tested for EPO, growth hormones, insulin, testosterone, DHEA, IGF-1, cortisone and blood doping? Remember Lance Armstrong? Well, I have been following cycling for a long time, back in the mid 90s, Armstrong use to lose anywhere from 20 to 30 min on the last climb of the day. Then all of the sudden, he started winning the Tour de France. I always told my friends that Armstrong was the biggest lie in sports and 10 years later it was proven that he was. Some of the people in this forum started taking about Tommy Moffitt, strengthen and conditioning coach at LSU. Makes me a little uncomfortable, that he follows, Michael Rassmussen, a disgrace Dutch cyclist, who was kicked out of the tour the France in 2007 and consequently suspended two years for using the drugs I mentioned. He was never heard from again. It is no secret in cycling, that the biggest drug dealers are the cyclist themselves, they know how and where to get these drugs. Maybe it is just a coincidence, but in today's world of sports, where millions of dollars are on stake, I guess you need to get an edge.

If they can only get rid of our tranny ***ing athletic director and bring in a competent passionate AD with total autonomy we could take it to the next level.

I am so happy .....it took a real coach from the SEC to come in and see we needed change. Mark Richt is modeling us after a SEC squad boys, where elite S&C is key...(he got drilled for failing at that at UGA). He knows how important the S&C coach is to the team. LOL @ anybody on this board that believed every S&C was the same and they all knew the same information. LOL at certain posters (won't say any names) who repeatedly defended Swasey's subpar results. Your eyes don't deceive you...look at any top 5 program's players and look at ours.

Wushah and I had been fighting the good fight for well over 10 years on these boards. Now it's time to make leaders of these young men and his S&C program will weed out the men from the boys.

Change was necessary. Whether it be because people like you and me felt he was a subpar coach or because it was time for a fresh start, it's hard to believe that many people disagree with the move. Imo, we are 12 years late, but I'll take it now.

As for the former players, they'll be okay. Most of these guys resist change. They'll be back. For me as a fan personally, this is addition by subtraction.

This team hadn't passed the eyeball test for well over a decade and the *** kicking that LSU put on us back in 05' was obvious we were out manned.

Clean house we haven't won anything in over a decade.

You sound like a moron and you have no idea what you are talking about except you think you are being edgy but are really just blithering on and on about a subject you have zero understanding...go back to eating your potato soup.

Miami was 113th in yards per carry on offense and 123rd (dead last) in yards per carry defensively.

Aside from a complete lack of discipline (last in NCAA in penalty yards), being soft and weak was one of the biggest issues inside the program. Dorito contributed to that number, obviously, but the big guys on this team looked like they were huffing helium and chugging butter.

We need a brutal off-season program to start transforming the physical composition and attitude of this team.

LSU was the nail in the coffin for modern Miami football. It might not be popular to some but Coker was a good coach, very smart. He was not great but he was a good coach. And a big part of him failing was our soft weak *** team back then. From that point on we've been pushed around for years.
