Surgery for Mali

I was good to just sit him until healthy, but now he is getting surgically repaired so even better. Get him as healthy as can be for his return.

I understand for many of you, this is the end. You think the season is over & we're going to lose a bunch of games.

I however do not.

I believe in our HC
I believe in our OC
I believe in our WR Corps
I believe in our TE Corps
I believe in the Team.

Obviously, Malachi Toney is a HUGE HUGE part of the Offense, given his incredible ability & high usage rate. But, our entire Offense is not just Malachi, while at times it certainly appears that way due to how often Mensah feeds him, but I'm fairly certain we will still be able to move the ball & score within the same frequency.

Again, I know this is devastating news for most of you & you will cry & sulk for the foreseeable future, trust me I get it.

Just have a little faith in the team you root for fellas, the season is not over yet, I promise.

Spoken like a true Rastafarian. Seeing the good in the world

I concur in all regards

First, he got hurt TWICE in the Wake game. I was there, I watched it live, I didn't have to rely on what TV showed and didn't show.

Second, I explained this hours ago. He got hurt against Stanford, which was upper body, and he got hurt twice against Wake, the worse injury was lower body.

You must have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express when you went to the Wake game.

this showed up in my X feed also and was about to post it here. There are more variables here than just 4-6 weeks.
Bowers and Egbuka both had it in 2023 and both missed about 4 weeks.

Both were clearly not the same player when they came back either.

That being said, the ACCCG is 4 weeks. 1st round of playoff is 6 weeks. If we somehow get an easy 1st round matchup or a bye, the quarterfinals are 8 weeks away.

Mali has been carrying this wr room all year. Best player in the country, biggest reason we’re the #1 offense. We can cope all we want we aren’t a natty contender without him

Mediocre oline, mid wr room, bad defense..This is the worse possible news ever man i feel sick for mali and our team

This thread is absolute PROOF POSITIVE that we have some of the softest, ****iest crybaby fans on the planet.

And, hey, it's not everybody, but we've got a very loud, very ****y 10% of our fanbase who will run around crying like ******* every time we have to face a bit of adversity. One minute they'll lie to you by saying "Yeah, I trust Mario now that he took us to the finals and signed all those blue chips", but the minute our team STRUGGLES to win a game (but still wins anyhow), they will go OFF, telling you how this player or this unit is the worst they've ever seen at Miami.

Look, I think the world of Malachi. I would never say that anyone can "replace" him. He is (and/or will soon be, statistically) the greatest WR who has ever played at Miami. But if you think that Miami can't eke out a few wins against multi-loss Duke, VaTech, and BC teams without the greatest ever WR at UM, then maybe you need your head and your expectations examined.

I know that this will come as a shock to some porsters, but Miami has managed to win 5 national championships before Malachi Toney was ever Immaculately Conceived in his mother's virgin womb. And it is highly likely that Miami will win more national championships after Malachi Toney ascends into heaven or the NFL, whichever comes first. So what that entails is the REST OF THE TEAM performing up to their highest standards to do everything they can to replace the statistical production of Malachi Toney, even if they cannot reproduce his actual physical and spiritual presence.

If need be, we should start calling out and NAMING the most pusillanimous porsters who are claiming that our season is over, all hope is lost, and that we are nothing without our best player. It has become tiresome and infuriating. It was bad enough when the accurately named Mope Squad was spreading its verbal diarrhea when the Hurricanes were less successful, so now they find isolated incidents in which they can re-exert their ****iest tendencies.

**** it. We've got games to win and rings to earn. May God, in all his infinite wisdom, heal Malachi Toney's ankle in much the same way that Jesus Christ healed the blind and cured the lepers.

Peace be with you all, except for the mopey ******* who try to ruin this board EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Show me the quote from UM or Mario *** wipe. No one has confirmed its the same anke. Grow the **** up and stop calling out posters for making basic comments.

Go **** yourself. "The quote from UM or Mario". Only morons pull that ****.
