Sun Life Renovations Begin

That's center field.

It's not. Joe Robbie and Paul Warfield's ring of honor spots were in LF.

I wonder if they got some sort of refund for those seats, since people were so seldom sitting in them.

Looks better already. Where do you get these pics from?

Almost all of them come from here: https://twitter.com/tomgarfinkel

Occasionally the Dolphins or Sun Life Stadium posts some new ones too.

Thanks for posting them, I'm to lazy to go to Twitter ;)

It's crazy to see the support behind the seats... "surgically" removed all the bs and will put new stuff there. Might make you think twice about structural integrity when it's shaking for FSU lol.

it shook for Oklahoma, Ohio State, Florida State in 12 and 14, and Georgia Tech when Futch murdered someone on that block.

Lulz - the first time I ever felt a stadium sway was in 1977 in Anaheim at an Angels game. I didn't like it at all. I've felt it at other places since, and still don't like the feeling.

I saw the new Levi's Stadium built and open recently -- today's fans want alot, so sports businesses, in particular, need to provide the amenities.

WiFi, diverse and tasty food options, hi res screens, etc.

I don't go to games, but I'm sure the fans will love the upgrades.

Anything that gets us more of a home field advantage is a good thing.

Go Canes!

You should stop reading the board if you only value the opinion of people who actually go to games. I'd venture the percentage is somewhere south of 50% of the regular posters here actually go to games regularly.

Levi Stadium is a travesty to good stadium design. Too open, lopsided, generates pathetic crowd noise, looks cheap, etc. It's anything but a good stadium design.

I felt this way when seeing the design, and it was much worse after being at a couple of games this season.

It is terrible compared to (especially) Century Link field, the new Vikings dome (it may be ugly from the outside, but the inside at least makes sense), Falcons stadium, etc. It's as if they took the Oakland Colosseum and stretched it out to the side a little. It's ******* awful.

I miss the OB :frown-new: Yes sir, it might have only been a few times but it has rocked.

Canes305 must have not made it into the stadium yet when this happened:
