This will be a great venue in 2016. I think the changes this year will help but its the roof in 2016 that will make a big difference..

Yep. Will be awesome....for the Dolfans.

It's an obvious improvement (especially when we didn't drop on a dime on it) but it'll be an NFL atmosphere on our best days and still cavernous on our worst.

I'm in the minority because I like Sun Life Stadium. I recognize that it's not as great as the OB was in relation to proximity of the fans to the field or the feeling that it was UM's stadium, but I like the amenities and the ease of ingress and egress.

I actually don't think you'd be in the minority if we had a real fanbase. If we were capable of always turning out 50k+ to ALL the games then the idea of sharing a small(er) dual purpose soccer stadium with less amenities wouldn't be as popular as it is. Anyone arguing that "new" SLS won't be a sweet venue is lying. It just will never be a match for us and Donna knew that when she signed the 100 year lease.

Thank you. Bosey was a wonderful woman and her family was my ticket to excellence.

Tad,

Wasn't JRS designed to be a football/soccer venue and that is why the stands were so far from the field? If that is the case, wouldn't we have the same problem in Posh Spice Stadium?

I believe so. I'm thinking advancements in architecture would alleviate that issue somewhat with the main draw being lesser capacity and more than likely some form of a roof and obvious proximity to campus at ****er Stadium.

I heard that Bosey was a drug-addled hooker who molested kids and died of AIDS.

Here's a touching story I'd like to share. When I was a student at UM, I met Bosey at a seedy homosexual bar in Coconut Grove. As you men know, I'm heterosexual, but I just happened to be there for underwear night because I liked to show my incredible bulge to other men.

Bosey was there trying to score some poppers in order to loosen up her ****** for *** with a monolithic black hobo she had a crush on. When she saw me, she begged me to defecate on her chest. Being the people pleaser that I am, I dragged her into a stall by the hair and unloaded on her. She was so happy that night I thought you'd like to hear it, Tad.

Please tell me they are still keeping the alcohol-free family zones up in the nose bleeds, it's the only way I'll go to games

No class and a poor memory to boot, Chise. You're clearly confusing my dear Bosey with one Edna Shalala. 5 Hail Marys and you're forgiven.

If sun life was just designed for football and soccer the seats would have been much closer. I think the additional requirement of baseball made it worse. Saddly the revised bowl is still aligned for soccer. So while 24 feet closer will help it is still way to far away

Wait we played Georgia Tech in our last home - mother ****ers!

No GT was the ACC representative in the 2015 Orange Bowl because FSU was selected for the playoffs. They started demolition at sun life stadium after the Orange Bowl game.

the demolition started during the game.. The mighty SEC west, previous #1 ranked team, was on the receiving end.

Should be an electric, never before seen atmosphere for when the big teams play.... in the Orange Bowl game. Meanwhile, 'Canes play in the Moral Victory Bowl where there is no loser and both teams earn participation ribbons and ice cream sandwiches.

Bet I can change a Saturday 'Canes home game in November to the FIU stadium if I agree to rent out Sun Life for $2200.
