The big money is making it to the playoffs, those are the games that pay big money like the bcs used to.

when i have a 5 star 16' kid coached by my friend say "Miami's in it. Im excited to see who their new head coach will be next year. social media is saying butch davis." u know golden has to go. other kids are thinking the same. the recruiting class is about to fall apart and a kid, duke johnson who single handily won a ton of games for us the last two years is gone.

Correct. I'm sure the new president won't appreciate the ****storm of angry fans/boosters and having to pick a new AD/coach right off the jump either. That's a **** of a position to put a new president in.

Richard Fain is someone else to email. I don't know if he has say in the coaching decisions but he's leading the search for the new
president. Doesn't hurt to email him and let him know that we all want a great academic institution but that sports are part and parcel to the university's history and that we want to see the university bring in a president that understands it's possible to have a successful academic and athletic institution.

exactly. there was a time a you would see miami shirts, hats, etc all over the northeast. we were a national brand
now people dont even talk about miami. an empty stadium means weak ticket sales and no one is buying merchandise at the
stadium. Do you also think we dont bring in more money if we play on abc saturday night instead of ESPN2 or ESPNU? come on.

But you are to send an email to a man of his stature and base it on the fact you don't see people wearing Miami gear? Unless you had solid objective data he never reads your email.

hopefully our miami.edu address will keep us out of the spam.
 
guys like Miller, dimare, fain,etc dont get where they are by having people like al golden in leadership positions. guys like that despise excuses.
 
The same people who complained about the banners, and who don't like sending emails, are also the same ones who love to shout "miami has no money" and "no one wants to come here". What kind of gaping ******* roots for mediocrity?

I have rooted for scores of losing teams. Complaining DOES work.

Miller got to where he is by being the son of a very wealthy guy who built a very successful business. I wouldn't ascribe super human powers to him or any of the others.
