Stop Snitchin'

I'd instruct my players to stay a safe distance away from people if they feel triggered at the sight of someone not complying with a mask mandate.

But instead of standing the obligatory 6 feet away and attempting to engage someone in conversation who isn't in compliance, we're skipping straight to public shaming and policing.

Neither option is ideal, but there's holding people accountable (like yourself and your teammates) and then there's being a tattletale.

These people know the mask rules on campus, and they're willfully violating them. It's not "snitching" any more than it's snitching to report someone you see breaking into a car. You guys got the concept of snitching all wrong. Snitching is when you're up to no good with some accomplices, you get caught, and you snitch on the accomplices to benefit your own situation. Or it's if you're doing a bid and provide info on someone else to shorten your bid.

It's not on the players to get into confrontations with people that can lead to violence, as we've seen 1000000 times on social media with Karens and the lengths they're willing to go to not wear masks. It's also not advisable for players, who are trying to stay away from the bug, to start conversing with some mongoloid not wearing a mask, who could infect them.
Good post. I may not agree with the ratting out-snitching- aspect of this, but it is now a matter of survival for our U, and the team. No excuses or promises will stand, only action will win out, to have a season, among all ACC teams.

Maybe we should send the players to weekend pool parties and dorm orgies to ensure everyone is following the rules. We have to take action.

I think the simple solution is to give the team 6 foot cattle prods to shock violators into compliance. They get the job done and maintain proper social distancing.

Do we want football or not? Funny how some people set their undying devotion to us playing in the fall so quickly aside to defend the "freedoms" of some freshman douche from Long Island or Saudi Arabia that can't adhere to a simple campus rule and proceed to attack Manny for wanting to have football by any means necessary.

This is a new low for the Miami Hurrikarens. George Orwell called this.

Im gonna tell my momma you aint got a mask on.

People have forgotten what it is to be a American
Exactly. Nuthin' moar Murican than to act like a triggered snowflake ***** when you're asked to make the most minimal of personal comfort sacrifices for the greater good. Whether that's football or public health or just playing the p-r game so we can take the mask issue factor off the table when even discussing this.

It's voluntary?

Depends on the venue. Are you "asked" to wear pants in the dining room at Smith & Wollensky?

The majority of freedumb lovin' mongoloids causing public scenes are doing so when they're actively choosing to try to violate the policies being implemented or adhered to by private businesses. Funny that these same people want to force their will upon these businesses but freak da fugg out when Blaine and Ralph want to force a bakery to make a wedding cake.

Imagine practicing in 95 degree heat index in a helmet and pads..and having a problem with wearing a mask when in public..if it’s the team’s policy it should be a non issue

Gotta keep bringing that up, don't you. It was one time and yes, they asked nicely.

Its my right to do as i please. Same goes for you. But you think your opinion is important and its not.

Youre triggered not me. Stop stealing conservative phrases because you arent clever enough to come up with your own.

I dont wear a mask. Never will. Guess what. No one is brave enough to tell me what to do unless they are behind a keyboard.

Not since I was about 6 or 7 years old when my bike was stolen from our front yard in Coral Gables. Was so shocked and appalled that I entered the kitchen, picked up the phone hanging on the wall (the only phone in the house), dialed 9-1-1 and blurted out that someone stole my bike and promptly hung up.

I mind my own business.

Reagan would laugh at the entire essence of your being based on what you just typed. Buckley and Krauthammer wouldn't consider your notions anything more than comedy.

I'd absolutely say this to your face except a) I actually don't trust being anywhere near your droplets and b) you'd probably be too distracted listening to Charlie Kirk or Limbaugh telling you how to own da libz super hard.

Exercise some self control, friend
