Stop hating on Swasey.

Swasey's name continues to gets tarnished on this board, but there's no real reason for that! I hope Mark Richt keeps Swasey. You guys who are calling for his dismissal fail to realize his importance. Yes our players did get fat and slow under Golden but who's fault is that? Not Swasey, that's all on Al, as an employee you do what your boss tells you to do so you keep getting those pay checks. Swasey was simply following that fat ***** orders because you never bite the hand that feeds you. Jonathan Vilma and Ed Reed, both future HOF'ers who have been coached by some of the best S&C coaches the NFL had to offer continue to say Swasey was the key to their success. It's up to Richt to decide what type of S&C program he wants implemented and let Swasey run with it. Many coaches need to go, I won't say any names (Dorito) but Richt would be foolish to let Swasey walk.

I'm with you on that...On a number of visits to Miami i witness Swassey training with a number of NFL Hall of Famers. .I'm sure they have experienced the tech and style of other trainers..but still they come back and workout with him...I know they come home for the summer anyways...but i watched Jimmy Graham..Jon Beason ...Andre Johnson..Vernon Olivia..to name a few ..all working out and taking instruction from Swassey. .. More importantly than that. .the S&C will spend more time with my kid than any other coaches..I am very comfortable entrusting my child with him. He holds no punches from the kids and they love him.. I'm good with Swassey...i don't think its fair when you cast stones on assumptions or other peoples opinion...Shaq's school has a great S&C program...do all the kids benefit from the program? Not unless they put in the work. Visiting other schools and meeting the S&C guys it pretty much the same song..the big difference is who can motivate the kids to push it to the limits.

If the U was in Alaska. ..most of us would not be on this site.. I get your point tho.. but I counter with this one.. They can come back to their Alma Matter and workout. . But they really don't have to workout under Swassey's instructions that is something they choose to do. I witness for myself him interacting and giving instructions..i am not going on with what somebody has told me..I'm going on with what i saw with my own eyes..
