There are a number of factors.
1. Does Google have to sell Chrome? If so, search drops.
2. Gen Z/Gen A are big ChatGPT users.
3. AI isn't a 1=1 replacement of search, so we are seeing a change in behaviors. In the end, if most consumers shift to AI agents for finding information, then Google will struggle.

Google doesn’t have to sell Chrome and if you have the Gemini ai app, your Google search automatically goes to Gemini when needed.
Chat is still the most popular, but google claims it has not seen any decline. There is conflicting evidence to the contrary.
 
Anyone know if Echostar is still a good buy. Clearly the inside traders got in a few weeks early on it.... But if they are keeping $8B worth of SpaceX stock.... which is currently at about $400B value, I could see SpaceX doubling in the next 2-3 years for sure.... Though I saw Echostar does have a **** load of debt, so even though they're getting about $10B in cash from SpaceX not sure they're still wroth buying at this point...

This probably really puts significant pressure on ASTS SpaceMObile as well. They have agreements with Verizon and AT&T as their main selling point, and have some important spectrum themselves... but SpaceX can be their own MNO and has the agreement with TMobile... And just in general has the cheapest access to space on the planet, the most advanced sats, and engineering talent, and with Starship and V3 Starlink/DTC sats, is going to be a major accelerator...
