Thanks for sharing this. I just read the white paper and honestly my immediate reaction is that it sounds genius. I've only recently gotten into trying to learn more about blockchain. Maybe you've heard this from others, but for me it feels like the more I learn the less I feel I understand. I can only describe the feeling as one that seems like each aspect I gain some type of grasp on is joined by so many questions that I feel like I'm going in reverse...even though I am learning more. Never in my life have I felt that way, and the closest would have to be to what I felt when I dated one girl in my early 20s lol.It's a protocol built on Terra (Luna). LUNA and UST work together. Luna helps keep the UST stable coin pegged (stable). So UST is basically digital USD, and you can get 19.5% without any volatility.

I don't want to run this thread off the rails but I was wondering if you or someone else could help me wrap my head around Anchor? Just on the surface, 19.5% is too good to be true in any era...but with the type of volatility in the market presently it becomes even more incredible.

Well, to start with anchor generates a lot of income from lending people money at a similar rate. Right now they have loaned out $2B+ UST and have $5.3B on deposit they have to pay out on. Though the loans are offset with transactional rewards so the actual cost to borrow is much cheaper. For a long time it had a negative interest rate, right now after the offset its about 2.3%. There are questions about how sustainable it is, but the asset is stable and liquid so if it ends, it ends. But I doubt that will happen as it was created by Terra Labs themselves so I am sure they have a plan for any occurrence.
Don't overwhelm yourself and try to learn everything at once. Right now all I do is read about LUNA and its various protocols. It's still too much. Follow the best LUNA twitter accounts if that's your jam, and google and read as many medium articles as you can find. Go down the rabbit hole.

Follow up to this post - I can confirm that you can buy native LUNA and send directly to Terra Station on crypto.com - did it myself earlier today (moved my LUNA from another exchange to see if I could transfer it to TS in fewer steps).
Fee was quite low also. 1.5% if I recall correctly. Way better than the gas fees when you have to use Ethereum tokens and send it cross chain via the Terra Bridge.

Looks like we'll see those contracts sooner than i expected. 2022 will be a nice foundation. And as I previously mentioned and Epstein confirms our sales will fall between 600-2400MCF based on current market conditions.
Here's the old projection chart i posted awhile back based on different scenarios. I've to go back and factor the royalties on the raw crude gas which pull off around 30 MCF value and i'm sure there will additional cost down the road for more production facilities. Once the January holes are tested and we have 6 wells worth of data to average instead of 3 i'll be able to dial it in further. This also doesn't factor sales for other rare earth gasses or hydrogen, so perhaps thats an offset.
For now take this as a very loose guide. Average well lifespan is something i have to try and account for in a conservative fashion when its related to revenue multiples. The other major factor missing here is dividends.

Also FYI he had made a promise he would get a Luna tat if it ever hit 100 so it's not based on AUM or anything. I knew it was coming, but **** that's big ink!!
