Still wanna laugh it off?

is this true?

Yes. Tons of international students at UM who came from multiple middle-eastern countries, particularly Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. I had a fraternity brother who was Saudi (which was highly unusual, very few middle-eastern students rushed back in the 80s and 90s).

No one is batting an eyelash with how the Red Chinese has taken over a significant amount of the entertainment industry, farm lands and other vital parts of this country so why should we care about some Saudis pumping money into college football?

We better be in front of line if this becomes an eventuality.
saudis are pumping money into pro sports too. i dont have an issue with it.

There’s two programs I see this benefiting more than anyone else, and one of them is ours(Miami and USC). At the end of the day the only thing that matters to the Saudi’s is money, and the Miami and L.A. market provide that in spades.

I've been on record for some time now with a prediction that the NIL era ends with the globohomo megacorps taking over college football. At some point you're gonna see the Amazon Buckeyes taking on the Google Crimson Tide in a non-conference game. The Saudis, Chinese, et al getting in on the action is of no surprise to me.

A floating stadium in Biscayne Bay? 🤔🤔🤔

Stadium problem solved. 😏
If a storm comes we can still have home field advantage!!!
Just move it a few hundred miles north or south.
I am so down for a home game at key west during fantasy fest.

Gotta be careful with the deal you make with the devil. Once you depend on that money you become their pawn. What happens when a student-athlete begins to speak out against human rights violations or what happens when an administration encourages its students to stay silent? It creeps into a program insidiously and there’s no going back.
Human rights violations?
We have china funding almost every Ivey league and top educational institutions in America and nobody has said sht.
We’ve been Saudi Arabia’s 911 call center since they dug a water well and found black gold.
I agree with what your saying but recent history shows that no one gives a Fck anymore.

We should beat everybody to the punch and start buying everything. I remember when them man took over Manchester City and everyone was hair on fire. Now its like meh. The hypocrasy of that was 7 years or so before that Russian Abramovich took over Chelsea and bought the league. I will not be making any moral decisions on any of these things. The British Monarchy, the US govt, people in high society have done and continue to do the same thing, while feeding us fake morals.
🎯 People talking about sportswashing when the US is literally the biggest sportswashing factory in the world.

Not to mention alot of the elite institutions, including many of the Ivies, made alot of money from endowments fueled by the opium trade back in the late 1800s. No one batted an eyelash.

Or that Harvard faculty and staff literally enslaved who died on campus serving the staff and faculty. This is just the last place that should bat an eye at “human rights abuses”.

Look what happened with WWE a few years back... They did their Saudi show and Vince had a dispute over money with them.. problems ensued and Vince bailed back to the states on his private jet and left all the talent stranded in Saudi , like literally on their plane stuck on the runway...
Saudi's wouldn't let them leave... Imagine being part of that... Literal hostage situation...
I spent about 6 years workign in Pro Wrestling, mostly independent circuit, but did work shows for ECW and WCW. Having been in the biz I know things, heard things. Having never met or worked for Vince, I can only go by what I have heard. But everyone I know who knows the man, says he is a gigantic tool. Not just rumors or crap you see or hear about. But people in the biz..he is a tool.
